Happy new year beanie. I'm sorry to hear of money issues 😞 I had a really tough year a few years back after I split with my ex. I told myself I could do no spend for a year to get out of my mess. But reality had me in more debt than before. Can you access food banks? Use discount codes on things like hello fresh and the other places - can't recall their names. You might get some good deals for a few weeks and good food.
Hoping you can sort the SOA out so you have enough wiggle room in it to do okay. 🤞🏻 Fingers crossed that the potential lodger is a good one..it might be nice to have the company as well as have someone about in case you fall and have trouble getting up. 💞5 -

Hi Beanie, I was just thinking there are some tips and advice you can get on the web regarding lodgers:- Taking in a Lodger? Download our free guide | SpareRoom
That is an example of what you can find - spare room have a whole section for live in landlords, in the help section.
One example is when the new potential lodger comes to your house do they offer to take off their shoes, this is a sign of respect. etc etc.

P.S All completely free - even to advertise your room!Missions: -
