hmm, the smaller airers might not be up to Scottish gales unless weighted and anyway they'd be too small for sheets (which imo is one of the nicest parts of drying outside). A whirlie by the rail sounds a plan? Or could you co-ordinate things and time it so somebody else puts washing out, is it any easier for you to get it down?Sorry to hear pain levels are bad, but glad that you told your friend and you had a good time.Debt free May 2016... We put a lot of our washing on those small peg racks inside then you just hang up one thing on the line
this is what they look like
not good enough for sheets but definitely OK for t shirts and underwear

I am able to do this but only once a week sadly and of course the weather does not always play ball. Getting it down is slightly easier.RosaBernicia said:hmm, the smaller airers might not be up to Scottish gales unless weighted and anyway they'd be too small for sheets (which imo is one of the nicest parts of drying outside). We had a smaller whirlybgog for the caravan. It wasn’t as tall as a conventional one. Have you thought of one of the walkers with a seat on just for doing jobs around the house. If youu had access to one you could maybe sit and do some things you can’t manage whilst standing. Or you could just use the heated airier and save the money from buying another walker. Do whatever you can to make life easy for yourself 👍January spends - £587.585
