I got something like this to help with my upper body strength after my recent illness.

    il_570xN.692962374_9zoi.jpg

Does help if you have a little bit of a garden though - definitely not an indoor thing...
:) Ooh, I'm an archer, although that pic is of a recurve bow and I shoot a longbow. It's definately good for upper body strength and for posture. With archery, great big bodybuilder muscles aren't what's used, it's the finer muscle groups in the arms and shoulders. You do need to be able to rotate your shoulder back towards your spine, on the side which you hold the bowstring with. Think of it as being like pulling your shoulder blades back towards each other like angel wings. :A

That's a good job, because I don't have bodybuilder muscles (sob). I need either a bigger garden or a lighter bow though.

Just found your diary Beanie and wanted to pop by to say 'hello' and thanks for all the support you have given me these past years :T

I am so impressed you made overpayments at Christmas - don't be too hard on yourself or compare what others might pay - wonder what they would manage if roles were reversed - bet they wouldn't have managed to overpay at Christmas. Do what you can when you can however infrequent.

I was full of good intentions and managed 1 overpayment on my loan all last year :o Plan to do better this year........

Don't get me going on disabled parking - my son parked in a hatched bay giving him room for his chair - badges well displayed (this was at a very big shopping mall in Manchester) whilst in the shops some idiot parked over the hatched area and he couldn't get his chair next to his car to open the doors when he returned - had to go back in to customer services - they called the number of the car - nothing.....ended up the man on customer services had to back his car out so he could get in his car............don't folk realize hatched areas are there for reason - sorry moan over.

Good to see you on here - subscribed

So pleased man on customer services was prepared to move his car for him. But what a total prat to park over the hatching. I really think some people need a brain transplant because the one they have certainly does not work very well.

Often it's caused just by wearing underwear that's too tight.

    Cramps their thinking...

Saga has been going on since Nov last year & still not resolved

:o to say used to work for them.
They missell BT tv box thingy but then wont refund the activation cost. DS has moved to Sky but BTossers have still not closed my account or refunded my pennies.
Did I say I was  :rotfl:
But in fact it is not funny.
Only remained loyal to them out of misguided loyalty.
    Hey ho.

AAlso still not heard from power company about low income energy rebate:mad:
Can't even manage baby steps with it all
