Ooh, you've reminded me beanie, my council tax bill arrived today - I confess, I made sure what it was, and then didn't open it any further. It'd be good to check that £150 tho!
Sorry about the shoes - I've bought shoes online once, and though they were the right size and comfy etc, there was stitching around the top of the sides that was a little bit too tightly drawn, and it was agony, it was like somebody had sliced my foot. How awkward about the big parcel though! Do you have a shopping trolley? Sometimes when I have awkward things I take the bag off and tie the thing to the trolley base with a bungee cord2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -
Pleased your mum has been and you’re feeling a bit better. Bet Miss Summer has been enjoying extra cuddles.

I definitely think folk will revert back too……my pet hate is hanging washing out but I’ll probably go back to doing it. I’m lazy and use my drier the I don’t need to iron it. That’s my excuse anyway.January spends - £587.585

I'm washing everything on cold wash now except sheets and towels. Here the water is hard so it needs a hot wash every few to stop the soap-scum and limescale building upSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far

Glad you are feeling better.
Shame about the shoes. I feel your pain. Is there not a collection option for the parcel at all?"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
