Please go Beanielou whatever it takes. My OH declined an invitation to a garden party at Buckingham Palace in his younger days and says it is the only thing in his life that he regrets5

Me again @beanielou
I have been thinking a lot about you today and our responses yesterday. I wonder if our responses are rather overwhelming and not what you “need to hear”I wanted to say I think we will hear you that the vulnerability in losing your mobility and independence is huge and really difficult to get your head around when you have a lifelong experience of living with a body that doesn’t work in the way most of the population does.
Admitting you are vulnerable and need support is hard enough to your virtual friends but real life that’s overwhelming and emotional I get that. Especially living On your own. That the beanie Lou we know who has tenacity. Resilience and zest for life can run out of batteries and be flat. When you’re feeling so flat and down Something like this which is both emotionally and physically draining Doesn’t seem possible to achieve. All our messages are chorusing the fact that you deserve this opportunity and you deserve to go in the best supported way possible.I hope you know that you don’t have to do this alone We all hope you don’t turn it down.
and when you get that party out the way Which I’m sure is draining and taking up a lot of head space.Let your virtual friends and I’m sure real life friends and family help you find a solution to do it in style in comfort and be able to have a joyful day.As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Thanks @Bubblesmum.
We have as an organisation been allocated two tickets.
These in turn have been offered to my FB buddy & I.
I also have to take into account my bathroom issues.

as @Karmacat says we will respect your decision - however before you make that decision I would be happier if it is from an informed position !
If money was no problem, if you could be taken door to door in comfort, have a companion - (other than the second ticket holder) with you to push your wheelchair and support you. And feel comfortable that your personal self care issues could be managed - would you really really want to go ?
Was my experience when I was allocated one ticket in the party in the palace draw - that when I contacted the palace and explained I was disabled and needed to bring a “companion” with me - an extra ticket was issued - only valid if they were with you….So can I gently push back and say would you consider Not making a decision until you find out what the accessibility policy is?Re the other matter….. your secret is safe with us……and good on you for saying it out loud.Have you tried http://modibodi.co.uk/. I use them for very heavy periods
I know I’m a pain but I love you too xxxAs a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

It’s such an honour for your FB and an honour that the food bank has chosen you. 👏👏Do whatever is right for you. 😂😂 Think we all have bathroom issues…..I know I do 😏January spends - £587.587

Bubblesmum says it all so eloquently. I think that if you want to go, there are lots of us on here who would help try and resolve any issues that you are worried about.
I think bathroom issues are terribly common, and few people like to speak about it. I second modibodi - they are not cheap but they are really good at containing fluids but also they do not smell if that is a concern."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". As you know Mr SA has a big problem with bathroom issues. Always have to make sure one is close by. I would make sure he had “something in place” if an opportunity like this ever came up. Not that it would, he’s never done anything remotely worthy of an invite to anything like this. I really hope you can find a way to go 🙏I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

I already has support from the local continence clinic.
It can be variable & sometimes is pretty dire.
