I usually watch Casualty on the BBC iPlayer app. Mr SA doesn’t like it which is annoying, so I end up watching it on my iPad 😩 He loves the real life hospital programmes though. Sorry to hear about your friend’s mum, so very sad xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Hello and happy new year to you. I agree with what you said re casualty. I bawled my way through it. While I was happily never making life or death decisions, there was so much I could relate to. I was getting no real direction and was worried about the impact my decisions would make on service users and staff along with the fall out from banning volunteers from the site and now, we are back where we were. Fingers crossed it won’t be for much longer.
on the credit union front, not only does my credit union double my savings, it also provides a life insurance policy that covers funeral costs where there’s no alternative provision and where there’s a minimum level of savings which I think is around £150. Might be worth checking out if your cu has similarMortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Oh my, I watched Casualty as soon as it finished ... yep, cried all the way through. And I haven't watched it for many, many years, I only recognised Charlie, but it was just really good drama.
On credit unions: checked out the one local to me, and the only thing I can access is the loan application page, which is weird. I think my settings might need tweaking.
Hope you're having a good day, beanie.2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -

Watched Casualty this afternoon and OMG it was so harrowing 😢 Then I got angry with these idiots that are still trying to party and don’t care about the consequences 😡 They should be made to watch this episode although doubt it would make a difference because they’re too thick to get through to 🤬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4
