  • Hello beanie! I hope your weekend has been restful. I've been inspired by you to set up a sweep from my bank account into an e savings account the day before each pay day. Whatever amount trickles in I shall immediately transfer into my mortgage account. Also I'm going to do the same with cash back from websites. It won't be a lot but it will be something and as greying says The Man won't be getting as much interest as a result.

I am fairly ignorant about this but does it mean that you end up paying less and less interest and therefore having g more to pay off the capital over the years? I am on an interest only mortgage at present with large penalties if I move it before November 2016. Any info gratefully received. Xx
With family, friends and pets (or any combination of them) life will be fine!
