Did a wee stint at the foodbank & paid FB money into bank.
A wee bit more decluttering & another wee trip to skip with wee bits & bobs.
Hopefully a friend is coming tomorrow to take some of the bigger stuff to the skip.
The council charge 30 quid & will only take wee things.Sigh.

Trying to get rid of big items is a real pain at times. Our council charges £22 for 3 big things and £33 each for white goods. But we have a YMCA that will come and take it away for free, obviously if they're in good enough condition to sell on/refurbish.

Would love to hear you actually say your last post with all the 'wee' words in there :D 'Murder' is another favourite Scottish word of mine to listen to as well :rotfl: xx

Hope you get your physio appointment Beanie.

Speaking of Scottish accents my DH (an Englisher who lives up here) finds it hilarious that most Scots can't make Karl and Carol sound different. They both just come out sounding like Carol. :rotfl: Out of the blue he'll just say to me, say Karl and Carol and laugh like a drain. *shrugs*

I had a problem in Berlin asking for Earl Grey tea as it comes out as Errol Grey in my accent. The waiter could not understand what I was asking for and I had to put on a posh English accent to get the Earl sounding like Earl and not Errol. :rotfl:

A now retired colleague had the most broad Scottish accent ever and spoke at 100 words a second. As I spent quite a lot of time with her and understood what she was saying, I was the official office interpreter and people would send me to ask her things :rotfl: Mr SA always knew when I'd been talking to her as I would be saying aye instead of yes :) I do love a good strong accent wherever it's from.

Great news about your friend who is coming to do a tip trip :)
My council introduced £30 fee for collecting items too.

It'll be great to get rid of more stuff :) Our local council charge per item but once a year they do an amnesty and they'll collect up to 6 items free of charge.
