Evening Beanie :) Thank you for indulging my 'murder' fantasy. :rotfl: We lived down south for a few years and when I returned up north in my early 20's I always used to ask for mushy peas in the chippy until somebody said I didn't need to say the 'mushy' bit as they were the only peas they sold up here :o

Milann - I know barm cake, muffin, roll, bun and oven bottom but bap is something I can never get to grips with. xx

Hooray for orange smarties - did I read right white chocolate ones, now you're talking :rotfl:

I was born down south and call a bread roll a bread roll but where I live now they're called cobs. To me a cob is a type of Welsh pony :rotfl: Good job my family are a mixture of all over the place or I would be in a permanent state of confusion. Teafor2 I believe baps are the large squashy rolls with flour on top.

Beanie our local Lidl have started selling stotties, I didn't know what they were either but they appear to be a type of very soft flat bread roll. They might be a north-east thing but not sure. Lucky might know.

beanie I think the rolls they are talking about are morning rolls. Or just rolls. Get them with the papers :rotfl:

My Granny was English and always said I spoke too fast and she couldn't understand me.
