Because you're worth it and everybody needs a treat every now and then

I'm sure nobody on here thinks you're moaning, I certainly don't although I think you're entitled to moan plenty reading between the lines
I second what HHD has said - the light is definitely at the end of the tunnel now. Keep your chin up. xx
I am not worth it.
But thanks for thinking that I am

At least you've treated yourself to something useful that you'll get plenty of wear out of. I think the drab weather makes you feel low, I know it does me. Hope you feel happier soon xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Enjoy your hoody beanie! We all need something to cheer us up during drab January!:)
P.S. re the birthday present. I'd go with some nice biscuits. Thinking of my mum when she was in her 80s, her appetite had reduced over the years but she always enjoyed a biscuit or two with her cuppa!:D
Have a good evening.

This has made me laugh.....as I read Sue Perkin's autobiography not long ago.
A hoodie, it appears, is very handy to go out in with a taller friend (or even in your scooter Beanie).
You can look like this :A while your friend lifts things and puts them in your hoodie! :T:T:T
Only joking....but it did make me think of Sue Perkins using her little brother's duffle coat when he was about five and him wondering why he was being dragged backwards and strangled by the toggle!!!Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.
