    My mum in law loved tea bags and biscuits as she got older - we used to wrap her favourites into a pretty package of cellophane and ribbon with the biscuits and give it to her from the children.
    Sorry the pain levels are high....we’ve broken the back of winter now and slowly but surely we’ll notice the nights getting lighter - a feel good factor at least. Keep on plodding....

    I have bought a hoody.
    Why I do this when I am totally skint I am really not sure.

    I hope the hoody cheers you up Beanie. I do that too when I'm low and unfortunately it does cheer me up, but it's not good for the budget :o.

    You've had some brilliant present ideas so I can't top those.

    At least next month you won't have to pay the extra council tax and I know 15 months can feel like a lifetime but you will have more money for fun and holidays, etc, when your mortgage is paid off. At least the end is in sight :).

    I hope you feel a bit more energetic soon.

    I panicked slightly for you there, wondering why you bought a hoody when you were low on food.
    I actually like a hoody or a dressing gown with a hood. I just put it up and I somehow feel safe.

    Because you're worth it and everybody needs a treat every now and then :)

    I'm sure nobody on here thinks you're moaning, I certainly don't although I think you're entitled to moan plenty reading between the lines :o

    I second what HHD has said - the light is definitely at the end of the tunnel now. Keep your chin up. xx

    A hoody will keep you warm, saving you high heating and less pain so BARGAIN. Enjoy it - don’t look back feeling guilty about it.
