I see that you have really come to a better understanding of where you are and what you need after your meeting. Although you said there was not a lot of response from the others I think it has provided you with a lot of clarity :Tmummyroysof3 wrote: ». Been chilling out reading whilst daughters gone to bed. Not much flying done today as took mum to buy an electric recliner chair. She liked one on the shop floor so I asked for and got a discount £39, after thinking about it she decided to have a sofa to match, so I said we would order one if he gave a discount off that- £75, very MSE. She took me out for afternoon tea afterwards which was yummy.
Must get back into the flying mode and finish off the kitchen clearance of clutter, hopefully will finish that am and then go for a long walk pm. Will check in later. DottyNSD 1/3,

Morning!
Still in bed, kiddies are singing, rather loud. I'm only sorting dinner and keeping on top of the kitchen today. Will be out mostly.
Have a lovely Sunday and good luck for anyone in parades etc.

Morning all. I've not had a chance to read through so takes hugs etc as required.
RANT time -skip if you want! I am a little fed up this morning. DD and her BF are here and are hogging the bathroom to get ready to go shopping, even though I needed to ready for a parade at 10.15 today, and they just walk past stuff on the stairs that needs taking up.
OK, so I'm not sure I'm going to be ready on time now so will just have to think of DS's friend on my own which I do quite often anyway. He was killed in Afghanistan two, nearly three, years ago, and I like to remember the lads playing together when they were little, and giggling like girls and ordering in the biggest pizzas they could.
Other, less important stuff today:
I have chicken in the slow cooker ready for later, and have made Yorkshire pudding batter. All washing up done.
I need to:
Sort out car insurance with DD (obviously when shes back from shopping)
Hoover through house
Walk dogs
Buy veg for dinner
Read yesterday's paper and some magazines before I go completely bonkers.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
(((Hugs))) Jazee I didn't know him obviously, but I'll focus my remembrance on your DS's friend today.Better is good enough.0

Thank you Honey Bear.
I have just watered the plants, put washing on the line and dusted the bookshelf in the hall. I am informed that the bathroom is now free, so I'm going to see if I can get ready in time for the parade.
Catch you all later.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
I made it in time for the parade and service. Back home now and just about to walk to the farm with the dogs to get veg for dinner.Spend less now, work less later.0

Well done Jazee! And thank you for remiding me there are families who are recently affected and who also need remembering
Have cleaned out Benny Bunny; he's lolloping around the garden as I put a panel in front of the gate so it's secure; cleaned out cat litter tray and it's drying in the sunshine and I have bedding on the line blowing dry (I hope) windows open to let in fresh air; dining room windows cleaned.
Need to dust DR now.
Have managed to come up with some secret santa suggestions. As my kettle is leaking (slightly) I have put one on my list.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0
