  • Morning everyone

Frizzle reminds me of the time my niece shoved a raisin up her nose while they were staying with us. We went to A&E then were referred to another hospital because they couldnt get it out!

Wendy I am with you. DS2 is going to tidy his bedroom this morning - or else.

So, birthday cake to do. I am not the most crafty person but have bought some ready roll icing, some cake decorations and an icing pen so it should be OK. Quite looking forward to it!

Oh and more paid stuff today - then some general catching up. Sun is shining but its supposed to rain later!
  • Morning all, I've not been around much this week as I've had stuff on almost every night after work so haven't been around. It's been lovely to get out and about on an evening but I am looking forward to a quiet weekend to gather myself. I've been flying when possible and have done my dailies for most days but nothing more, but because I haven't been around the house has stayed reasonably tidy.

    So today's list is:
    -Do washing
    -Change bed
    -Hoover
    -Dust
As well as my dailies and anything else that pops up. I'm starting to make xmas cakes which i'm really looking forward to...I probably will be a bit fed up by the time it gets to cake number 4 though.

    Have a lovely Saturday everyone.

    Morning all

Slept in for a bit and just having a cuppa.

Weekend flying will be to get all boys bedrooms tidy and dusted with them and work with DH on his office/my dumping ground - hope this will involve some ebaying and CSing.

My new pillows and duvet is on! Just having a little lie down :p

Old duvet is under the sheet so nice cushy bed for me! And hopefully warmer!

Now to decide what to do with the old stuff... Must get rid, must not stash "just in case"...

    Feeling a flingathon coming on...

  • Had a flying slump yesterday, sorry for not keeping up with the thread the last couple of days! 101 items are labelled, packaged and in the car for the nearly new sale today and I will be off in a bit and out all day. Then we're off out to fireworks this pm. So have a good day today fly ladies and I will pop back in tomorrow!

    !

I can do one better :o:o

    Rabbit pooh :o:o

When I was a small child my dad use to breed rabbits for butchers and I have been told by my mum that I put a rabbit dropping up my nose :o:o I'm not sure if we ended up the hospital or not though
  • We had a tiny Russian dolly to remove from a nose once here. Been keeping on top of the house but had to ask for a week extension on my essay as I was so far behind due to half term. That's due by Friday and I've a parents meeting and new table and chairs to build. Then I'm back to decorating. Must not fall behind again coz next one due early jan so will need to submit before kids break up for Xmas

DS2 put a broken of rubber from the end of a pencil in his ear, now that took some getting out.

    Wm1 finished
    DW in progress

So going to put washing on the line and reload and then do my first 15 minutes in DH office.

I can't keep up with Fred this week. Please forgive me for being rude by not commenting (and hugging) when and where appropriate.

We have a new-to-us dishwasher which I plumbed in last night, having plumbed out the old one. I have absolutely no idea why I always assume it's going to be me, and indeed is me, who always does the nuts and bolts of stuff. I'd quite like to be a girly-girl, but it's never sort of happened.

I've been going back to my listy posted earlier in the week and crossing things out, and now have only three items left on it to finish. Rather pleased with what I've achieved and without the listy they'd have been forgotten again, and that coupled with the 15 minutes daily in my RoD have meant I've made a bit of progress.
    Better is good enough.
