:AWell I'm definitely up for a fly party.
Am listening to Simply Red live in Sydney. I:heartpuls:heart2::heartsmil:heart::heartpuls:heart2::heartsmilSimply Red.
I have two problems
problem 1 - I need to come up with suggestions for my secret santa to buy me acceptable gifts. So far I have thought of
a watch I can tell the time from without wearing glasses and a new lock for my Troll bracelet (I covet and elephant lock).
I just need a list of suggestions as we have a new system en famille (and it will be hugely moneysaving as I now no need to buy gifts for 6 people, just one).
problem 2
dress as your hero/heroine day
Hate dressing up and need something simple...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hi all
Just finished playing catch up at job no. 2. My brain is fried. I cant absorb any more information.
Took DS1 shopping this aft for some bits that he needs for his work placement and blimey did it rain! Thought the world was ending. We were going to L*dl but got so wet walking around the shops we gave up and came home.
More paid stuff tomorrow, laundry is piling up (wet again tomorrow if the forecast is right), birthday cake to bake, other assorted jobs to do.
Good going Pigpen, I never know how you get any flying done at all with your brood!
My cosy bed, book and PJs is calling ...0 -
Evening all, just waiting for bread to be cooked then il turn in for the night.
Pigpen hopefully he will have regrown all lost teeth and so glad it was a peaceful send off.
Hope all fly ladies and family who were/are Ill, feel better now/soon.
Such a busy bee day but house is tidy and washing basket (was) empty at some point today !!
Dd has to dress up as her hero next week too valli I am stumped.
Sushi I had a wobble too this week, hang in there! Good luck for tomorrow
Hope family meeting goes ok wendy
I meant to say lots more but eyes are stinging and bread is cooked. Dh snoring on sofa, may have to leave him there
Night all0 -
What a day!
I cleaned the windows in the kitchen first thing before swimming. Hubby was in mk and told me that it was chucking down and would be heading my way. So chuffed that I actually cracked on with this. By the time I had been swimming, headed to the shops and seen my mum and dad, it was 2.30 and ..... Chucking it down! Didn't get living room done or ds1s room done but 1 out of 3 is better than none!
Not a lot done this evening as we have had a trip to A&E!
Six year old was playing screwball scramble. Next thing I knew boys were wrestling on the floor and then 'muuuum! I've swallowed the ball!'. 111 called and then three hours at the hospital. X-ray showed it was in his stomach so will come out of its own accord! Little b****r! He was really upset! Because a) he now only has one ball for his game b) he had to wait ages at the hospital and c) he missed his dinner! He wasn't allowed to eat anything until after his X-ray and as it happened at 5. He didn't eat until 8.30!! Hoepfully he will have learnt about putting things in his mouth!!
Anyway, here is my update!

Missed posting Thursday/Friday. Wasn't very fly lady either day as I was out most of Thursday - lunch with friends from pain management group, visit mum at her residential home -91 and still got all her ducks in a row- played bingo and had a cuppa with the other residents. Went to b&&ts for my 9mth old grandson Xmas present - joggers and two tops, do you all know the children's
clothing are 3 for 2 this week. Came home to a slow cooker chicken casserole and read my book.
Friday my fibromyalgia flared up so went to corner shop for milk and did little jobs for 10minutes and then rest for 30 minutes. Drawers in kitchen now all cleaned out.
Pizza for tea and caught up on forums and read my book. Can't get off to sleep so I've come down and made hot chocolate and posted.
night night all DottyNSD 1/3,
My mantra is After I ....I will. eg After I make my morning coffee, I will take my medication. Eventually this will become a habit,0 -
Good morning! DD woke me an hour ago. Doesn't she know it's the weekend? Gah.
A day of pottering and playing for us today. And keeping warm and dry! DS asked if we could bake so I'll get some butter out of the freezer. Dunno what we'll be making, yet..,
And I'll go through the house and do a surface tidy. I have a plan for our Lego storage so we may pop out later..,Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Frizzle- oh my gosh, I have all this to come with 2 boys. I had 3 brothers. They still play fight now when they get the chance!
hi dotty, sounds like you've been busy, hope you got to sleep.
I've currently got dS2 and dd climbing all over me so I better get up in a sec.
for today I've got to do the dailies quickly then I'm off to a tutorial (open uni) then Ikea with mum. She is having the three monsters for me and entertaining them for a couple of hrs near the college. I'm still bf ds2 so has to come with me. She is my absolute rock.
hope everyone has a lovely day. Ex use the for at the bottom I'm on my phone and cant remove it

Without sounding patronising well done Lynnejk on your list of extras :T I'm waiting to see "do Spainish prompt cards" crossed though
Family meeting didn't go as well has hopedI got a lot of nodding and "it's not just me!" but I don't feeling anything really registered
And I've got left with trying to work out a new budget _pale_
Anyway, to me this is a fresh start! No more just nipping to a supermarket cos I can't be bother to cook. If you're not in by 6pm I'm not cooking for ya! No more take aways regularly. No more lifts everywhere unless I'm already going out (DD1 is the worst for this!) I will carry on giving DD1 lifts to work but only cos of it's location, main road, no path and over hanging trees that make it very dark. She has a fluorescent vest but I wouldn't want to walk it so won't make her.
TD on, just having a coffee before getting the WM loaded and on. Then I'm going to sort this budget and workout what I have left to get for Christmas.0
