It's wet through here, and almost dark :( school run time soon...

DD has just put the snowman on, so I'm hiding behind here trying not to snivel. The music triggers memories for us, especially me and FIL, neither of us can watch it and stay composed.

We've been out all morning. Met some friends for :coffee: and managed to get DD some long sleeve thermal tops from MandS. She also bought herself a little owl handbag that will match the shoes we got her yesterday :)

Oh and we got the biscuit tin with the light up lid, it was still half price. And still over priced, lol. But it's my contribution to the Xmas stash.

DW emptied and more bits loaded. WM on, heating on (brr, house felt chilly when we got home). I sorted the kitchen this morning before school, and left my cloth soaking in bleach. So we are not doing too bad here. And we have a day at home tomorrow, I want to get my new pillows and duvet on!

Lordy the rain is bouncing down!

Sorted another drawer only 3 things with mould found :)
Took DH gold chain to get fixed so he can have that back for Christmas. Whilst there I traded in a very small bag of broken gold jewellery expecting £10-£20. They gave me £130.

I have had words with nd builders as there are still no gutters and my back wall is now soaking. They are looking into it.

    Pigpen Sorry about Noel x

Frizzle - I didn't mean to worry you - do you have a garage, relations where you could park some stuff that won't be needed until after your move? Or just able to tidy up a little instead of doing the " ram it all in and shut the door quickly approach"!

You see I know because I do that!!!! You have obviously worked miracles on the house from the agents particulars - I am off now to emulate you.

Best of luck and hope it sells quickly. x

Two viewings over the weekend so that's a good start. Will see what I can do! A lot of it is spare pillows/duvets. Might put them in big bags and shove them in the loft, will do that for a start I think and then see what else I can do!

    All of upstairs hoovered

    In my HHC I

Sorted 3 drawers to check for mould. Clothes felt damp but only mould was on an old diary. These were DH's which he told me he had checked obviously only "man checking". I have hoovered them out and antibacked them. Clothes are now airing.

We have 2 dehumidifiers a 16l & a 20l. They were from bee & queue. Also many of the hanging bag types and satchets. We have some bean bag ones which you refresh by placing on radiators but I think they don't work.

Hopefully when the heating goes in next door the problem may ease (fingers crossed).

Good luck for the house sale :)

Now I'll have to leave the rest until DH here. He's not working tomorrow (I think) so we plan to get all the old computer and printer stuff out and boxed to recycle/sell. Then off to buy me a little present of a new wifi printer :T

Once that's all out he can help me move the rest of heavy things about and clean under/behind as we go - he doesn't know that bit yet :rotfl:

Now off to make another cuppa before making the bed and then the dinner !
