Wow, well done pigpen. Seriously not sure i could of stayed but I'm sure your cat appreciated it.

I have a total terror of all things dead.. linked in part to my terror of those scary 'Z' things.. and it was ok.. honestly and truthfully.. I was terrified he would cry or have a seizure or take forever to go but it was literally a little injection and he was gone in seconds. It was all so fast and traumaless for us all.. no suffering at all... he was sitting with his head on me and as they injected he went floppy and was laid down and he was gone.. I truly believed I couldn't be there and I was amazed by myself.

He needed me and wanted me.. that was enough.

I wonder if he has teeth over rainbow bridge? He hasn't had any for years!

Flying has been a bit hit-and-miss lately - think GUAG has gone partying/AWOL/MIA more times this year than is allowed! Don't know if it's anything to do with my sleeping which isn't brilliant at the best of times, but just lately, when I wake up in the mornings, it feels as if I haven't had a restful sleep at all.

Anyway, tomorrow is another day, so here's hoping ......

    Night all.
  • I'm going to combine Friday and Thursday because I missed them due to being poorly. Will take it steady though, and split it up into twenty tens.

Frothy Thursday - Bathroom Deep clean
    Only got 15 minutes....

Clean the toilet, inside, outside and round the back of the pipe
Check all the tubes and bottles, and throw out the old ones.
    Sweep the floor
    Empty the bin
    Clean the sink
    Clean the window sill
Give shower tray a good scrub out
    Clean towels, mats etc

    Regular chores:

    Do three loads of washing
Empty and reset dishwasher x 2
Get bin in from the street
    Clean Doris the Mannequin
    Put seven items onto ebay.
    Put clean washing away
Cook dinner - and get rid of evils in the fridge.

  • Morning everyone - can't believe I am up first!!

Have had scrambled egg and tomatoes on two little pieces of toast as getting fed up of branflakes and banana!! Hope it will give me energy for what is planned today!

Well done, Pigpen - if I had known why you were bothered could have reassured you as I had to be with DH Mum and their cat when he went to sleep years ago. Hope DD induction is soon.

LW - hope your paw is improved after the night's rest.

Frizzle - don't want to bother you but I always ask to look in cupboards when house hunting - just to see how big they are and not just because I am nosey! Are you doing viewings yourself? Good luck with the sale.

Get well soon vibes for any poorlies.

Today I have a couple of calls for DS.
Then hope to start my "Autumn cleaning" -
    Kitchen first
    Then upstairs main rooms
    Then downstairs main rooms#
Lastly bathroom - 'cos my sciatica still hasn't gone completely and need to be careful.

Problem is I started my scarf again last night so need to do a bit of that in-between!!

Have a great day everyone. x

Jttou- I am slightly worried about that. I think k I am safe with drawers and under the beds but the wardrobes and cupboards under the stairs are rammed! As is the airing cupboard! MAybe I will try and find some room in the loft. Which is also rammed!! Estate agents are managing everything and it went on right move over night so fingers crossed.

    Anyway, today's list-

    Unload dw
    Wm x2 (+ bedding)
    Windows- kitchen
    Windows- living room
    Window-ds1 bedroom
    Hhi
    Ds2 swimming
Shops to buy rest of bits for shoe box appeal

    Plus......

Finally Friday - Study/conservatory/spare bedroom/kids room or the dreaded Dining Rooms(choose one)
    Only got 15 minutes....
15 minutes tidying up and putting away
    30 minutes to spare....
Dust at least one flat surface
Change a bed (human or pet)
    Got an hour....
[STRIKE]Hoover the parts of the floor you can see
    Wipe phones/games and tv controls[/STRIKE]
    Extras
    Clean a window
[STRIKE]Make a list of things you may need to buy soon, batteries, lightbulbs, cellotape, stamps, shoe laces, sticky labels etc[/STRIKE]

That should keep me out of trouble!
    Grocery challenge-
    J- 52.40/£200 M- 187.56 A- 212.93 M-193.44 F-201.31 J- 240.62 D- £149.27 N- £210.69 O- 196.80
    S- 213.68 A- £213.03 J- 249.66 J-206.29, M- 252.91, A-£250, M- £250

debt free as of feb 2015. Now saving for deposit for new house! Moving in June 2015!!!
  • Frizzle - I didn't mean to worry you - do you have a garage, relations where you could park some stuff that won't be needed until after your move? Or just able to tidy up a little instead of doing the " ram it all in and shut the door quickly approach"!

You see I know because I do that!!!! You have obviously worked miracles on the house from the agents particulars - I am off now to emulate you.

Best of luck and hope it sells quickly. x

dustykittenbThank you! Tried to pm you, but inbox full. Will try again.

Ooh, I think it has stopped raining at last!

I have decided that there a few stubborn hotspot areas which I really need to tackle. First step, make a list of the different areas, then try and sort them out one at a time. I'll start today. I have already arranged for large bag of magazines to be picked up by freecycler this morning, so already started really.

Just waiting for shopping delivery, then will potter about gently flying.

(((Pigpen)))) I've never been in that position, but have stayed with pets until the end at home, cried buckets, but glad I did it.
