    Go as Eve.

    Instructions:

    1. Apply fig leaves.
    2. ... er, that's it.

You could, of course, go completely mad and carry an apple, but I think that shows careful planning and is therefore overkill.

  • Well I have spent the morning working and the afternoon curled up on the sofa with DS2 with the fire roaring and a film on the telly. I should have been doing all sorts of other things but there arent many afternoons when my 13yo asks me if I fancy watching a film with him.

So, I either need to finish the reports for work tonight or sort some laundry.

Radiohorse thats quite a list! Did it all go according to plan?

OH just told me that the car needs to go in the garage, a light has come on and its not running properly. Just what we need a garage bill - sigh.

Enjoy St Albans Gilly, hope you can park on a Saturday.

I've done some decluttering and cleaning in DH's office, started off all enthusiastic but now feel overwhelmed. DH is doing some of his bits now.

Going to see about joining a local facebook selling group to get rid of some bits rather than fleabay.

Changed our minds and went to Leighton Buzzard, picked up some nice Christmas bits.

Dinner became beige food. Chicken Kievs but was actually nice as probably not had for over 2 years or more.

Rescued Chameleon from choking on piece of plastic leaf  DD1 was given fake plants for Kiwi's viv but I guess the plant had got brittle?, she went to grab a locust and got a piece of plastic instead  I had to scare her to get her to drop it. She wasn't happy I think she thought I was after her "food". Plant now removed and binned, DD1 can checked over everything else when she comes home.
Aww, poor little Kiwi. I hope she's over the experience by now.:o

    dress as your hero/heroine day

Hate dressing up and need something simple...
That sounds like fun.... if it was me, I'd be dressing as Boudicca, with my wheelchair disguised as best as possible as a chariot.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I started out today with good intentions.... then we went into town for the weekly F&V run.
There was a craft fair in the shopping centre, but we've been good and only bought things we actually use: some fancy soap - normally Mr LW gets it for me at the Farmers Market but the stall wasn't there last time and I'm nearly out; some incense sticks - we use one per night, so a small stash is always a good idea; and some handmade greetings cards, very reasonably priced and the money benefits HULA a local animal charity.

Then..... we went to H0bbycraft as I wanted to check out some stuff to try and make cards myself.... ended up with Mr LW buying me a lovely cutting machine that plugs into the computer so that I can make my own little card embellishments. Upshot was we "lost" a good 2 hours downloading the drivers and looking at online tutorials and generally getting our heads around how it works. Naughty FlyWolf!:D
But I didn't have a birthday present this year (couldn't think of anything I needed at the time) and he can be very insistent if he knows there's something I'd like but I'll feel guilty about spending money on myself.:A

I did manage a whole 20 rows of my knitting.:T Ok, there's only 8 stitches per row, but all things considered, it's not bad going under present circumstances.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

We're getting there, though. Thanks YorkshireLass and DustyKitten for asking!

The relatives told us they'd be here later than expected in the evening, so this has moved from being one day's task to two, which is a relief. I'm going to go and tackle the shower tray so I can cross all of the bathroom off and just wipe down the bookcase in the hall because that's a two minute job. After that, shower, and back into my room for some before bed tidying.

We love Miranda in this house so bet you had a chuckle! We went to see her live in Leeds and she was very funny!

Lots of frogs munched here. New bathroom light fitted, curtain poles fixed (they had gone wonky!), new bulb put in outside light and bedroom light and utility cupboard fixed. Some on those jobs have been around for about 6 months! Amazing what a house viewin can do.
House viewing went well, they said we had a lovely home 😊
OH has been really helpful today and helping with jobs. We gave both agreed that we feel happier and calmer when it is less cluttered!

We went to look at a house today. Hubby came back and has said now it has been decluttered maybe we don't need to move! Bloody men! Anyway, night night, see you tomorrow!
