Giving my daughter (his stepdaughter) no doubt whatsoever that she is loved by him every bit as much as her mum loves her.Never again will the wolf get so close to my door :eek:0

She finds it amusing when I say "10 points to Gryffindor!" when I squeeze out a trump, regardless of how bad it is or whether it's on one of the kids heads! :rotfl:0

What a lovely thread idea.
DH doesn't kick me out of bed when put my cold feet or hands on him.
He puts up with my mum staying overnight every few weeks even though she makes us watch her tv programmes and he gets banished to the kitchen to watch MOTD.
He always sneaks his head around the office door to give me a smile when he comes down to make a brew.
He's allowed me an endless stream of waif and stray cats when he really wants a dog.0 -
Super thread!
In no particular order:- He still wanted to marry me even though I was diagnosed with lupus three days before our wedding.
- He buys me flowers for no specific reason other than they're nice to have on the table.
- He happily takes over cooking dinner if I start feeling too unwell to continue.
- He happily helps me bathe and dress in the mornings - says his reward is helping me undress at night!:rotfl:
- He does household tasks I can no longer manage without being asked.
- We frequently finish each others' sentences, or go to say the same thing at the same time.
- He happily eats vegetarian food at home, because I cannot cope with handling meat or fish, even though he enjoys meat if we go out.
- I feel safe with him pushing my wheelchair.
- He volunteered to get up early to help me walk the dogs when we had two staying who were experts at "leash macrame" (I should explain,we're a host family for a dog-sitting service).
- He attends all my medical appointments with me without complaint.
- He happily deals with all telephone calls for me (I am telephone phobic).
- If I'm feeling rough, he always asks "what can I do to help you feel better?"
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
