How Do You Know They Love You?

Touching base to just say hello via text or whatsapp, brightening up my day.

Remembering things I've talked about/liked and randomly suprising me with a related present or something linked to it at another time.

Remembering things about me/my life/work/my family in detail - making me feel valid and listened to.

Giving solid, practical advice.

Cute notes left for me in the kitchen. Surprise cards for no reason at times just because I'd like the card.

Not always telling me what I want to hear.

Snuggles on the sofa.

Our own traditions, just for the two of us.

Just 'getting it' - everytime.

You are all very lucky ladies, and it's obvious you know that, from the posts. Rightly so.

Aww such a sweet thread my OH kisses me goodbye every morning even when he thinks I'm still sleeping.
He also rushes home when I'm having a tough day with my toddler
Hes extra generous with my family cos he knows it will make me happy
tells me i look fab when i know I've put on a few pounds

its nice to have a reminder of these things from time to time..!

The way he was with me through all my shi€€¥ cancer stuff: biopsies, diagnosis, mastectomy, chemo and now my horrible tamoxiflushes. Hes come to every single appointment, blood test, yucky procedure and is still doing so: mammogram & oncology appts next week

This is such a lovely thread and has really made me smile after a bad day!

- he makes me a cup of tea every morning even though he knows more often than not I forget about it and it goes cold
- when I can't sleep in the middle of the night he always gives me a cuddle and never gets annoyed that I've woken him up
- he will do many more chores than I do round the house and never lords it over me!
- he will listen to my endless rants and work stories without a word of complaint (and I do go on and on!!)
- he gets angry at anyone who upsets me
- at least once a day he does something special... Just today he wrote on the condensation on the window "I love you" for me to find when I got ready for work after he'd left

The little random kisses on the forehead, calling me a "silly bugg3r" (i know it doesnt sound affectionate but it is when he says it ), little things like he went out to get some pop and came back with some chocolates to cheer me up as i'd been feeling a bit meh. The good morning texts that always put a smile on my face. The way when we are on skype and i blow him a kiss, he pretend to catch it and tells me hes's saving it

And when he says those 3 words, i knows it comes from the heart
