Evening all :wave:fairclaire wrote: »Well the culprit has been found. It was DD who genuinely didn't know the slice of cake had been claimed as she was staying elsewhere last night.
She has offered to buy him a special cupcake tomorrow which made matters worse. He wants the cake that she's eaten and he wants it 2 hours ago!
I understand exactly what causes the 'meltdown' reaction. This slice of cake was built into today's plans for him......just playing another part of the days routine. And if any other part of the day hadn't gone to his plan it would have caused the same reaction.
Unfortunately with so many people under one roof at times, things don't always go to his plan. Although we do all try our best
Also unfortunately he has been rather harsh with DD about her shameful actions. Telling her he has ruined is day and that's she suffering from 'middle child syndrome' (where on earth did he get that from?) Thankfully she has a hind like a rhino, as does everyone who lives here :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
All that palava over a slice of cake
Bless him FC, will he be ok tomorrow?0 -
Bless
About a third of it is waiting to be filled :T
I'm trying to run mine down now for the pre Christmas fill up.

It's about two weeks since I listened to this, which is about thirteen days too long. When I am benign dictator:D it will be law for everyone to listen to this as soon as they wake up:) and the world will automatically be a better place.

Yes as long as it all goes to (his) plan
Every day starts with its own routine. He's in bed now but still grumbling about the cake and he will until he falls asleep. In between grumbling he did tell me he'd be arriving in the living room at 8.55pm tomorrow for Im a celebrity and suggested I might like to break open a tube of Pringles
.........which of course I've now hidden in case someone eats them  :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Round trip to Bedford to see Dad and his is declining. Made him a cuppa and he didn't drink it. That is not him at all. Left feeling very sad.'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

Very busy day for me today. I haven't done any laundry for over a weekso five loads washed, dried and folded later..... Oh how I hate folding laundry and pairing socks. There must have been close to 100 pairs
:o and I still have all the bedding to do
As well as catching up with all the other things I've let slip last week. I think I won though
And we've had a meltdown from DS2 because someone (as yet undisclosed) ate the last slice of the Anniversary cake and it was his. We had tears and everything. Last seen examining other people hands, faces and bedrooms for traces of crumbs :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
He will have to have the first slice of your birthday cake to make up for it.
Mind you last person caught with a face full of someone else's cake was you:D
