Does anyone on here use the MySupermarket app on iphone? I have used it successfully on my Samsung phone (Android) for several months now, but changed to an iphone on Thursday. I used it for the first time this morning in A, and now when I scan an item it just shows the price in A. That's no good, I need to see the price in T and M, on Android it used to show them all!
I cut my shop short because it really irks me to do a muggle shop now!
Are there any settings I need to change, because I can't find any?
I don't have any problems with the app on iPhone. I don't know what items you were trying to scan? Was it maybe ones that are only available in As? Go back to the main menu and start a new list. Try scanning a few barcodes on stuff you have at home and see if it works then. HTH

I've just had a massive post disappear by skipping between tabs so I'm going to individually post these tips for mhoc or anyone else who wants recommendations for cheap options in Iceland
Food: we were staying in Reykjavik so can only recommend places there but it is possible to eat cheaply in Iceland if you look around. The best value place we found for dinner was here
http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g189970-d1487023-Reviews-Svarta_Kaffi-Reykjavik_Capital_Region.html
Our soups were 1500isk which is basically £7.50. We had the traditional meat soup (lamb beef paprika little bit of chilli and veg) and they serve it in a bread bowl which was awesome. Extremely filling!
We also ate at the famous hotdog place near the Harpa Centre. All of the locals know about it and there's a good mix of tourists and locals eating there. It was one of the best hotdogs I've ever eaten and with a drink will set you back just under £3. Brilliant for a lunch time meal on the go.
Booze: if you like a drink, you can drink in Iceland. The best thing to do is stick with beer (if you want wine or spirits, grab them duty and tax free at the airport for the best price) and go during happy hour. Outside of happy hour, a bottle of decent pale ale will set you back just under £5. Alternatively you could just get all of your booze at duty free but we wanted to experience some Reykjavik nightlife. I tried a beer called Einstok and it was delicious.Debt free 6th December 2014

Accommodation: we stayed here http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g189970-d633546-Reviews-Centerhotel_Arnarhvoll-Reykjavik_Capital_Region.html
And it was brill. It was included in our package but I'd say for a three star hotel, it was great. Brilliant buffet breakfast (we took some pastries away with us for snacks later on) free wifi and outstanding views. Our holiday company messed up our booking so the hotel staff stepped in and ensured we had a room with a breathtaking view.
On a side note about wifi, you'll never pay for it in Iceland. There's free wifi virtually everywhere
We had a Northern Lights tour included in our package and it was great. We were lucky enough to see them through the clouds. I have some pictures on another camera I'll post at some point.Debt free 6th December 2014

Hi Emma,
Glad you had a fab timeSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
And lastly, tours. I think I found some of the cheapest options for tours. We booked with Bus Travel Iceland http://www.bustravel.is
A brilliant 8 hour tour to waterfalls and geysers set us back £36 each. Most other companies will charge you at least £45-50 if not more.
Of course you can hire a car and explore some of these places yourselves. When we go back my mate has offered to drive so I'll be looking into prices soonish.
Also, if you go whale watching, book direct with Elding if you can. Our tour was £42 which again was reasonable compared to other companies. Sadly we didn't see anything on our tour but were given a complimentary ticket to return next time and try again.
Cheap activities in Reykjavik- you can get into the cathedral in the centre of town for free. To go up to the top for the best views it's about £4. We also went to the 'male chicken' museum which I'd definitely recommend if you fancy a giggle and don't mind looking at a bunch of male chickens! It's about £6 each to get in.
I believe you can also do free or very cheap walking tours. We saw a few around the city.
It is possible to be MSE in Iceland.
I would have spent a lot less if I didn't want to buy plenty of gifts and so on for family or if I hadn't done the tours. But they were wonderful so well worth it IMHO. We didn't meet a single rude Icelandic person and I've never been to such a warm, patient, welcoming country. Giant thumbs up for the beautiful place!!Debt free 6th December 2014
