Can anyone advise about ebay please? I sold an item on the 2nd November and posted it on the 3rd. Now the buyer has opened a case as she hasn't received it but she never contacted me prior to this. Should I just refund her as I have the proof of posting so should be able to claim from Royal Mail or will Royal Mail want me to allow more time? TIA
Give it 2 weeks (17th Nov) and if still no item received then refund for the full amount (including P&P) and claim via Royal Mail.

Off the top of my head, RM need you to wait about 15 days (could be longer) but you will have to refund on ebay sooner to avoid a neg, they have you over a barrel. I would contact the buyer, be all nice, apologise, and say you will refund, and that you will get your money back from royal mail by claiming. Sometimes when you say you are putting a claim in, the item strangely turns up that day. hth.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Royal Mail do have a time line (can't remember it but it is a few weeks) And will require you to submit a claim with evidence etc and then they contact and will require the buyer to confirm in writing they've not received the item - after which you'll get the refund. Best to look at the Royal Mail site for more precise information. Hth0 -

Minimum spend is £5 Mon-Fri.
Also, The Sun is not included in the promotion.
Wonder what they're trying to say indirectly?

Don't know if this is the right place to post this question, but you all seem a very friendly bunch, so here goes. I have a tesco price promise code from an online shop I did this week. If I want to use it in store do I have to take in a printed copy of voucher or can I simply show it on my smartphone at the till?
Thanks in anticipation!Living the dream, one moment at a time. It's not always easy but there are sparkles of joy around every corner.:j

As far as I'm aware, this is not true; unless things have changed in the last few months?
I'm sure RM have tens of thousands of claims to deal with every year. I realise that there's space to enter the recipient's address on the claim form. But I just can't see them confirming with each recipient whether they've received their item or not. Perhaps they do it with a small percentage of cases or those that claim repeatedly from same addresses?
Either way, the buyer paid for an item, claims he/she hasn't received the item; so they'll expect a full refund fairly soon. This is one of the reasons I don't sell on eBay.
That and and their extortionate fees for private sellers. Add PayPal fees and the odd claim here and there...:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

You can either scan the barcode to the till from your phone or get the checkout staff to enter the code manually.0 -

Does anyone on here use the MySupermarket app on iphone? I have used it successfully on my Samsung phone (Android) for several months now, but changed to an iphone on Thursday. I used it for the first time this morning in A, and now when I scan an item it just shows the price in A. That's no good, I need to see the price in T and M, on Android it used to show them all!
I cut my shop short because it really irks me to do a muggle shop now!
