I like to have it with water, cinnamon, banana, blueberries, dried fruit, and maybe a drizzle of honey if I'm in the mood.
Zap the oats, dried fruit and cinnamon with double the amount of water for 2 mins on max, then stir through the fruit.
I buy 1KG bags of tesc* value oats for 75p which last the month, and 1KG bags of cinnamon on amazon for about £9 and it lasts me the year. That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

I just adore that idea, thank you!
We have it in loads of ways. We just like it plain and also have it in some of the ways suggested above, but in addition:
Stewed apple with spices and a dollop of yoghurt ( plain or vanilla or a complimentary flavour) added is a huge favourite.
Black currant jam is sharp and flavourful enough that a little of it goes longer than a lot of other sweet additions.
With Scandinavian fruit soup is very common here, again , not sugar free, but a little goes a long way in this form.

Make mine with water - two mins in the microwave. Then honey and greek yoghurt and whatever fruit is handy apart from citrus. Sometimes some sunflower and pumpkin seeds. Sometimes ground ginger cinammon or mixed spice. To be honest I pretty much throw anything at it!

50g oats, 200 - 250ml of semi skimmed milk and a couple of mins in the microwave until its the consistency I like. Chopped banana and drizzled with maple syrup (not too much) as I got gifted a bottle at work since no body else likes it. Yum! or use Agave nectar instead of syrup if I'm at home.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

steelcut oats and water cooked with either dried apple and cinnamon or with cranberries or with raisins or inca berries. All put in the rice cooker before bed, timer set and all cooked and luscious by 7 am, the fruit gets soft and swollen. Dh has a little maple syrup on his and I like it as it is0
