Just collected second hand car today and have a few problems

I just collected a second hand car today from a small local garage, who sell cars and do repairs and MOTs etc. I was happy with the price. £5k. As part of the deal, the car had an MOT, FULL SERVICE and 6 months Premium warranty, which excludes 'wear and tear'. I have just driven it for the first time in the dark and find that there is no interior light coming on. Should I expect them to remedy this as I only collected the car a few hours ago?

They might do seeing as it is probably a 2 minute job with a 50p bulb, otherwise nip to like halfords or somewhere get a bulb and find a how to guide on replacement. Will be quicker too. Also make sure the setting is on auto not off.0

is it switched off ?
it is not unusual for a car on a dealers lot to have the interior lights turned off due to people opening the doors for long periods and running the battery flat0 -

Thanks, that may be the case as it is unlikely to be a bulb as i guess more than one light should come on. I will check tomorrow.;)0 -
the switch normally has three positions off, on, and auto have a play and see if it comes on0

I'd reject the car, definitely not fit for purpose.A blown interior bulb is a serious matter, garages should not be selling cars with such a major defect.Went shoplifting at the Disneystore today.

You say it has a few problems, is the interior light the few or are there others?0

Maybe the dealer turned the light off while it was on display so you didn't buy it with a flat battery.
Few years ago they used to display hatchbacks with the boot up and the boot light disconnected to save the battery.0
