Hi Indigo, we've tried to help, but it seems you've not used the Contact form on 0lly.uk. It's hard to help if you don't reach out0
-
We had I thought filled out the form,
where does the form go to once submitted ? as OFGEM, Trading standards and all the other so called help has been no use at all,
BES are like head butting a brick wall0 -

Did you take the advice offered to you when you were sent the deadlock letter?
e.g. did you go to the ombudsman service as you were advised to do earlier in this thread on 29-02-2016.
If you did, I'm surprised they would have come up with any proposed resolution this quickly?
So are you saing they didn't uphold your complaint?
What exactly have they told you???
(Whilst the ombudsman service is not necessarily the end of the road, the response you recieve from this independent third party 'arbitatator' should give you a good picture of what to expect should you wish to pursue the matter further)0 -

Note also posted on the 0lly forum
2 years into a 5 year BES contract for electricity and gas. I won’t bore you with the details as its the same as every else. But the call recordings sound like their held together with sticking plaster !
Can I ask the following please as I dont intend to give in to my BES friends but dont want to reinvent the wheel:-
1/ Can anyone give any advice on best tactics to get out of contract generally- maybe privately?
I spoke to one of the reputable energy advice companies the other day and they said that they were seeing more people leaving BES. Not sure how…
2/ With the Ofgem ruling at the end of 2015 there was an obligation for BES to contact customers that had previously complained about being missold I believe. However BES have told me that there were only 2 grounds that they had an obligation to contact customers on and I didnt qualify for either.. ( I read about 6 breaches not 2 but heho)
I obviously disagree…..does any one know what the Ofgem ruling meant in practice? i.e. have they contacted people or just buried it.
3/ Is the form on the 0lly site still in use and worth using?
4/ Anyone fancy doing a pitch invasion at Fleetwood Town…..I feel like I own part of the club now after paying all those BES bills!
Thanks in anticipation

Hi Mark,
I COULD give you advice and tactics to get out of the contract. But then if I did that I would be in breach of an agreed Court Order with BES. The good news is that we have a fraud trial next year at the High Court, where we're going to expose BES for fraudsters they really are.
So instead of breach the order, I will put you in touch with an excellent law firm who will use the tactics to get you outYou should also be able to sue BES for what you've overpaid.
I take it you're aware of the recent Police raids, and (now public) criminal investigation?0 -
Hi please could you send me details of this law firm - also want to get out of the 5 year contract with BES!
