The vendetta they pulled out of having heard in the High Court - and paid my substantial costs (£80K+). What is also odd is that BES claim several other parties also have vendettas; The BBC, Mail on Sunday, This is Money, Trading Standards, ex-employees, customers etc.

I have seen the email in question - the one claiming that I'm setting up my own energy company in competition with BES (despite the fact I've had a very successful company for 12 years), and that iamOlly was trying to extort tens of thousands of pounds. Note that none of this is backed up by and proof, and is obviously entirely false.

Perhaps its worth taking into account BES owner Andy Pilley's criminal record for fraud when considering the credibility of the claims. Then there is the fact our lawyers pointed out that he perjured the Court...
  • Having complained to both BES and ofgem we are getting the "Nothing you can do. you agreed to a 5yr contract and we can charge you what we want and there is nothing you can do" Even moving premises wont work as its in the business name. OFGEM are uninterested. the latest bill is almost £300 for the month. for a one room office, It goes up every month to the extent that the business may fail as we just cant cope with such massive bills,
Need out but have no idea how to get them to let the strangle hold go.
    At our wits end.
  • Every last thread of info about these !!!!!!!s is on 0lly.uk.

  • Wonderful stuff. The video of the so called broker peddling BES is particularly damning. Why have none of our MPs taken this up?!
  • They have now issued us with a deadlock letter,
What can be done now,any ideas ?

Deadlock means you can ask the Ombudsman to decide. He may (or may not) rule in your favor. You're not legally bound to accept his decision.

To be honest, the best way to deal with BES aggressively - ie cancelling the Direct Debit, writing aggressive letters, doing your research into who the brokers really are
