Sprinkle.com is indeed part of Potential Investments Ltd but is run separately to any other business within the company. We run businesses we enjoy and then spin them into separate companies when they reach a certain size.

We are not allowed to send spam emails, it is against the law and trust me there are big fines out there and there are professional litigators putting in claims for vast sums of compensation. I think John Lewis were taken to task this year about how they automatically opted people in.

At no point will anyone signing up on Sprinkle.com have their email added to any other lists.

We may partner with other sites but this will be made clear before agreeing and it not a required step. Any people that we work with will have the ability to unsubscribe.
We have an unsubscribe link in our emails, I just checked.

Password reminders and signup emails cannot be unsubscribed from as it may prevent you logging in.

A good point is raised though, I will work on a preference centre that is "opt in" so people can get alerts if they want, but the default will be off.

To say that 'This business supports "spam advertising" . ' is a bit unfair. Other parts of the Potential Investments Ltd send emails that are built from legal sources, but as mentioned we run separately.

I want Sprinkle to be the best and I value its reputation. I will answer any questions I can.

That might be a little harsh but they certainly bend the forum rules on self-promotion by asking winners to post on iwiwiw and they nearly always say that they won from that site in the title instead of either the usual thanks to a competition poster or saying what prize was won and leaving where from to the actual post.

I'd love to know the actual wording of the winners' emails they send out, and whether they go so far as to tell winners how to construct their post on MSE / include a link to the IWIWIW forum...

I've won 20 points about 8 times on the Nectar "Thanks a Million" thing; having said that I rarely do the spinning things I just seem to win on this one

Honestly because it is an awesome site and one of the biggest. If this is not appreciated I can alter the process.
