A sea view from a balcony or full-length window should be defined as being able to see the sea when seated. Only if the window sill is high enough that you can't see out of the window unless standing should they be able to say that is a sea view - and it shouldn't cost as much as a "seated sea view". ...but then, you shouldn't have to pay extra for a sea view just to avoid getting a view of the bins.

Caveat emptor!

Behind the trees was the beach, there were no left out bins or anything around the site or anything trying to be hidden, the rest of our holiday was wonderful, the only issue was the extra we paid for the non view.

I am glad First Choice were reasonable after viewing the photo again.
