Hello, I'm up to #6 now - still struggling to keep up, and not doing so well on the NSDs as I've been Christmas shopping intermittently online (budgeted but still counts as spendy for me).

Going to attempt to catch up on the thread now... thanks marmite for keeping us all on track, and hope all are well :)

Back from hospital after cataract surgery ( cataract formed after torn retina repair six months ago ) so now on two weeks sick leave ( advised not to drive or over exert myself while it's all healing) and looking like an extra in a horror film. So, should notch up a few more NSDs for the Cauldron of Doom.

Igor, just because I can't see out of one eye is no excuse to try and pass off your leftover Halloween bat curry as beef stew. How do I know? Well, a) it stinks to high heaven and b) it's making little squeaking noises meaning the bat is slightly underdone.....

english is not my first language, sorry for any misspellings
  • I had a spendy day yesterday unfortunately but off to the gym after work tonight before going to the cinema after that (I have an Unlimited Card so no spend). Hoping my OH might treat me to a bite to eat at the pictures! :-).

If I'm back in time to make my lunch for tomorrow (and manage to get out of my pit early enough in the morning to make my toast) it looks good for a NSD tomorrow too.

They have, thanks for noticing! :) Overpaying a little still, despite big spends elsewhere, just to keep nice round figures and it makes me feel better! Hopefully come February/Marc next year they will really start to tumble

    I do hope so.

    Evening all,

just managed 3 in row bringing me to NSD #6.

Today wasn't meant to be an nsd, but I was running late this morning and forgot money /debit card so couldn't go food shopping on my way home from work. The fact that we haven't struggled to find something for dinner probably means I didn't need to do any shopping anyway, though we are nearly out of washing up liquid.
