Don't worry- there's always leftovers....;)
Do you want to do the 'in a row' challenge too?0 -
Good morning! :hello:
Here's a big cup of coffee for you:0 -
So,a roundup for Monday morning...
-38 active participants
-140 nsds so far
Giving us an average of 3.9 nsds each.
I don't know what point nine looks like either...If we can nab 12 nsds today in total,we'll have an average of 4 nsds each, which is a much nicer figure.
Mind you, these figures were courtesy of Hubert and his battered abacus,so I might be wrong.
I'm certainly hoping for #7.0 -

Unfortunately my bed was too comfortable and warm this morning so Ididn't get up in time to make breakfast therefore I had to pop into the shop on the way here thus ending my run of NSD's in a row. Having said that, I'll give it a bash. I'm going to aim low to start and say 5 in a row. I'm away for the weekend with the OH so might be spending but on the joint account (we pay in extra to that for exactly this purpose)
Hoping to be organised and make today a spendy day since I need to get toiletries anyway and it means I can put away my £7 for Thursday football. Fingers crossed I can get another few in a row from tomorrow.0 -
I think in catching up I need to claim the following:
Thursday - NSD #4
Friday - NSD #5
Sunday - NSD #6
Yay! Not far to go to target really! Just a lot of spending to be done too, which is a shame, as I see my savings pot tumble!Debt Free I FFEF I Building Savings I 2025 Plan:- Regular Savings £9,800/£10,000

Some people might say, that having to buy some breakfast because you didn't have time to eat at home, counts as an emergency ie not a spend. It's amazing what contitutes an emergency.A cunning plan indeed.
It's up to you,of course.
The beauty of this way of thinking is that often when we spend money (and usually lose the nsd),we think 'oh well,I might as well stock up on this and get x which is on special offer',and we maybe end up spending on things we don't really need.If you class your breakfast as a non-spend,it'll keep you in check for the rest of the day -depending on your rules,of course.Does that make sense?
I've got some Panadol handy for your headache...
Aiming low at 5 in a row? Most of us would struggle to get that....
t2rry well done on #6.
Too bad that your savings are being depleted.I take it that it's for the wedding?0 -

I'm saying low at 5 in a row because I've already got 3. I guess I just take each day as it comes, keep the eyes on the prize, ***insert equally annoying sporting clich!!***.
Edit: Forgot to say that I got a refund on my purchase of Football Manager 2015 from Amazon...price dropped after I'd pre-ordered it so I'll be transferring another £1.40 into the EF.0 -

It is indeed. I know it's there for that reason and I'm so pleased we managed to save it, whilst paying debt off, but it just seems such a shame!!!!Debt Free I FFEF I Building Savings I 2025 Plan:- Regular Savings £9,800/£10,000
