my diary: time to step up to the plate. SPC#0790 -
Bit of a bonus today in that we freecycled the conversatory and were inundated with responses.. Someone came to see it and is coming to dismantle it at the weekend.. £175 saved on a skip!!
Item 15 - play slide £5
Nice to know we are getting closer to payday, eager to get the pennies all sorted for next month. DH's pay in Wednesday.
Went to the interview today, was all a bit strange really.. waiting to hear, but not expecting to get it and thinking I might be a bit relieved if I don't..
Have also applied for another role but very part time and would be self employed.. so wait to hear about that one!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Still waiting to hear about the job.. not going to take it even if offered, just fairly appalled at the delay..
Other self employed opportunity interviews are for after Easter, but on speaking to the Manager, she has indicated I will be interviewed.
Another opportunity popped up last night from a contact I'd made, so hoping to see something come out of that..
Would do both of these roles as they are very part time and self employed and I really enjoy what the work would be. And hey any extra pennies would be welcome!!
Emergency pot up to £60 and mortgage overpayment so far this year is £100, but also have another £50 saved up to make a lump sum overpayment at some point.
Got £15 on VP last night so have put that towards some new bike helmets towards the little people.
I think I've missed budgeting the fact I get 2 child benefit payments this month so if so, look forward to spreading that out over the 'pots'
Loan payment and overpayment budgeted so far means I'm paying off £354.43 so far with the hope of a bit more during the month.. Will check exact total with bank, but reckon we are down to £1957

Under £2k!!! Now aiming to get in three figures in the next two months.. 96.7% paid off.. would like to get to 97% paid off this month whatever that equates to!!
Really happy with progress so far..DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Thanks stripes and sashybo for popping in!!
So I didn't budget for the extra child benefit payment :j and therefore £88.03 sent to the loan leaving a balance of £1,869 and 96.8% paid off.. I'm inching ever closer with a 0.01% at a time.
Plan for Easter in general is get more stuff on fleabay and fb selling pages to try and earn some more pennies.
In exciting house news, people collected the conservatory at the weekend, so we didn't need a skip and I now have sooo much space on the garden.. just the slight issue of the concrete base to dig up now.. the garden looks like a building site, but hoping the rain holds off a bit today and me and the littlies can get out there for a bit..DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Checked the outstanding balance with the bank and it's £1864, so that's another £5 off the balance. In theory, another £64 to find this month to keep on track to pay off by 1 July.. but will keep plugging away to get as much as possible gone..
Item 16 sold - Shoes! £33 (bought and didn't fit - made £3 profit)
Will withdraw that from pay - pal and divy it up!
Also got 6p interest this month:j that will go towards the loan as well..
£5 cashback also tracked on t0pcashbak, so just waiting for that to arrive in the bank!
Been out all day so little ones are worn out and they are off to forest school tomorrow.. I'm whacked out this week.
Tomorrow sees the start of me seriously overhauling my way of eating.. I'm going to attempt eating only raw food until 4 each day.. veggie and vegan as well.. massive change for a haribo guzzling, chocolate chomping bird..DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Thank you hummingbird! I'm not sure there is much of interest in here, just my ramblings!
£5 cashback arrived.. and with other pennies here and there, I'm sending a payment of £25.06 to the loan. That leaves the balance at £1839.. £39 to go till I meet the target for this month.. need to start getting creative!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Feeling a bit antsy today.. I want rid of this debt sooo much like yesterday and I know I can't do that right now..
I'm looking forward to clearing it and having one 0% credit card left to clear, one debt and then I can really start budgeting a bit better.. although we will still fling most of the spare stuff at the credit card to ensure it's gone before the end of the 0% time.
I have a few pots for Christmas, holiday, utility bills which I am sooo tempted to just pay off the loan.. I know I will do that in the final month if it means it's gone.. not the right thing I know.. but I am one woman on a serious mission to get it gone.. feels soooo close, but yet so far..
90 days to go and counting to 1 July.. which is a big ask to get this gone by then.. but I'm going to try my hardest!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
