They were, even better considering we got four, not three..

Have found an old credit card which I need to start using to put fuel and petrol on as we are near the max of our 0% one.. so will keep sending little bits towards the 0% one and start to reduce that and just use the other one for things that absolutely get paid off each month.. as that one attracts interest for spending.. It's short term whilst we clear the last of the loan.

Item 6 sold - old train set £10
Item 7 sold - two car seats £10

Got a few more things on ebay.. hoping some will sell this week and just found a load of Yankee candles to sell. Whilst I love them, I have loads of the melts that I don't like, so better to make some money from them.

A productive afternoon with both items sold above delivered and collected.

I've been playing with YNAb and we had our waste tank emptied a few months back and the company never invoiced us. We use them all the time, but they were messing our appointment round as they had a problem with their tanker.. so the money is still in that 'pot' but I've squirrelled £90 of it away as well as £11 saved from the food bill and paid another £101 off the loan..

Down to £2,359 with 95.9% paid off..

Looking at YNAb again, I am aiming to be done with this by the end of June.. which is a tall order at £600 pound a month, but I really really really really want to smash the rest of the £58,000 debt asap!

Have applied for and got an interview for another part time evening job, which I'm waiting for more details of, but I'm debating whether it's worth it given I'll pay 40% tax on it

Long term I'd really like to get to a position of a number of part time flexible jobs.. I just haven't the confidence at the minute to consider quitting the day job.. but being able to be able to take the kids to school and back every day and be able to do work in between with 1/2 evenings out per week with work is very appealing!

I've started a course this week through work to assist with my second job which will give me a qualification that not many people have.. so bit strange to be back to studying again, but nice all the same to engage the brain matter. I just need more hours in the day to be able to get everything done..

Gone on a bit there.. over and out!

    :hello: All looking good DFOD.

Re the contact lenses - my DH gets his online from a company called Daysoft as they are a lot more reasonable price-wise than through the opticians and have really good customer service.

Glad the wee ones asked to go back to swimming lessons, I never liked mine when I started around 6/7 as I was scared of the deep water. Had to go for a few years to get to a decent standard but am still not a confident swimmer, think the younger they learn the easier it is for them.

Hope you're getting on okay with your studying.

Another £14.54 sent to the loan today.

Just realised in setting the goal of paying it off in four months - that's like 16 weeks! That is not a lot at all..

    Item 8 sold - handbag £10
    Item 9 sold - kitchen table £90

Few more items on fleabay which will sell so a PO visit needed tomorrow.

    A good selling weekend really.

Most of this is going towards a Hipp0bag skip which will cost £170. We have a conservatory to dismantle over Easter.. it's horrific stuck on the back of the lounge, but is so old, leaks.. DH calls it our indoor aquarium as the double glazing has blown and there is water between the panes with all manner of yukky looking bugs.. so a pain in the backside job, but the space it will give us in the garden will be amazing and our neighbours will like us even more.. they were over the moon when we dismantled the rotting shed right in their view!

    Item 12 - candles £10!
    Item 13 - airer - £10
    Item 14 - girls dress - £4

So some £23 withdrew from pay - pal to go towards the credit card.. £20 towards the hippobag!

Few surveys done.. VP is dreadful at the mo, really tempted to bin it after getting my next voucher as I'm only £2 away..

Few job rumblings going on here, have an interview for another role next week which could be a life changer in a little way.. not confident of getting it though as I not experienced in 50% of the job!

Quieter this month in making debt payments as I'd allocated everything at the start of the month so only been making additional payments oocasionally.. looking forward to payday again to make more!!

Pottering around the house weekend ahead as I'm full of cold, have a large washing pile and we are still trying to make progress on the garden..

Got another application form to fill in this weekend..

And in naff debt busting news.. a bit of my tooth broke off yesterday.. so much joy expected there.. I hate dentists!
