58k in debt to frugal living..

Start of another week and we got the tiniest bit of snow, but it was enough for the kids to oooh and ahhh at and throw about a bit..
Regular loan payment made and another £25 overpayment made, so that is £322.82 paid off the loan so far this month.. I reckon I might be able to squeeze another £50 as well. Though if I do that, I will want to aim for £400 paid off instead of some random amount.. That's under £4k owing by my reckoning, but I would need to see what interest gets applied at the end of this month.
Things that have made me happy today:
* paying the money off the loan
* watching my kids enjoy themselves in the snow for the first timeDFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Well done for the overpayment! All adds up... and seeing your kids in the snow for the first time must have been lovely! Hopefully you'll get a big overnight dump of the white stuff soon (on a convenient day, of course!) to surprise them0

Nursery bill in and it's way less than I thought this month - it changes literally on how many days they are in and obviously we have dropped a day a week as I'm now doing 4 days.. Soooo I've managed to send another £100 towards the loan payoff meaning I've paid £422 this month.. really chuffed and would love to get £500 this month.. we will see! 93.3% paid off and on track to clear it in December still with another £100 to find to clear it in November (though I still want it gone earlier than that!)
DH is out getting a chinese! Naughty I know but it's come out of my monthly spends, so not spending money I shouldn't be!
Happy evening all!

Mooooorrrrnnning!
First Friday not at work and it's been lovely not rushing about.. Just had breakfast with the little people and off to see a local pre school in a bit (although our second choice Primary School, I'm sure it is where we will end up) Plan to move them there one day a week for transition days when School decisions are out, so really just making sure I'm happy with the pre school prior to then.
Back home for lunch and then out again for haircuts for littlies and pick up some milk. DS could do with a new pair of slippers as well.
Then hope to get out somewhere local with their bikes or just go for a walk.
Hope DH isn't expecting a lovingly home cooked meal on a Friday waiting for him.. I'm tooo busy!
Have a lovely day all! :-)DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
