Not only that I hasten to add, I do prefer real trees and putting a real tree up now would mean it would be dead by Xmas! Nope, first weekend of December is more than suffice!:DRaven. :grinheart:grinheart:grinheart0

!
We have something up for something almost all year.
not huge like a Christmas tree, but different things on mantelpieces and table dressings etc.
There is always something to celebrate if you look hard enough.
Ringing the changes itself keeps me happy.0 -
I work in a hospice unit and sometimes we help do an early Christmas celebration for people who know they won't live until Christmas. I know of families who have done the same at home for a similar reason. There is a possibility that it might be something like that, and not necessarily someone who likes their tree up for 3 months.'And our dreams will break the boundaries of our fears'0

Lol no need to dust the cobwebs away then this month just say its your halloween decor !0

I was cleaning the utility room the other day and thought 'must get DH to put that box of Christmas decorations up in the loft' when I realised it's nearer to this Christmas than last

On the plus side, last years potted Christmas tree is thriving in the back yard and bigger and healthier-looking than last year. Very MSE

If your Christmas decorations are up long enough to gather dust, then you're definitely putting them up to early!
Far too early for decorations, but not too early to start eating mince pies

I too wondered if it was because someone in that family was terminally ill or possibly someone who is about to work abroad for several months and won't be back for Christmas, eg someone in the armed services.0
