If it were me, and I payed for packaging, the seller would be receiving a rather displeased email!0

I'm going to have nighmares about that for a month now.
No offence to your good lady wife, but I would never buy a second hand bikini.
A bit like buying second hand knickers......errr, noooooooo:eek::eek:
Lin ::eek:You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.

Also, since we are in discussion time, I have been educated in this thread about the hidden market for used bikinis.
As a chap, I couldn't imagine buying secondhand "smalls" but it seems to be commonplace. Never knew! (or new indeed!)
It was the market for 'well worn' shoes that took me by surprise. I've been tempted to sell a few of mine that way since I found out about it, but can't bring myself to knowing what uses they might be put to! :rotfl::o:o0 -
Same here P1, I've found lots of 'well used' looking shoes while sorting for my house move. I don't think that 'covered in dust and squashed from ending up under the chest of drawers' is quite what they're after though...
Blackpool Saver, I'm going to pretend that was a well thought out, deliberate and witty pun, rather than that I couldn't think of a different way to put it!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

That is super gross.
I would have complained to the seller. However, I do agree with the people who are saying that he probably didn't do it deliberately. So I would refrain from giving a neg. Either don't say anything, or give a neutral as someone suggested earlier. 0 -
For me, I would leave neutral feedback. My point being is that you have likely paid for postage and packaging i.e they have ripped you off by using a greasy pizza box rather than providing the new packaging that you may have paid for. Even if it was free p&p - I would class this as wholly unacceptable
I think that clean second hand packaging on a free p&p isn't an issue, but if it is stained etc, it's a no-no.
A lot of people on ebay are too kind with their feedback - or even leave none at all when there has been an issue - which negates the purpose of feedback at all, and leaves others to buy from someone who 'on paper' looks like an excellent seller, but in fact may have upset countless buyers. This just lets unscrupulous sellers carry on and get away with treating people shoddily
If you leave good honest feedback each time, good OR bad - you are helping others when they are making a purchase. With love, POSR

I emailed the seller with a photo and she got back straight away, saying that she had sold them for her sister, and was mega embarrassed / apologetic, but admitted she should have checked them more closely. She refunded me straight away, without asking me to return them obviously. I just didn't leave feedback.
OMG Disgusting . :eek::eek::eek::eek:
I would have left them negative feedback without hesitating. Selling for her sister is a poor excuse, its the sellers responsibility to ensure goods are fit for purpose. With love, POSR

How does the P&P you paid compare to the price of the actual postage of the item.
If it is hugely different I would be asking for a refund for the difference.
If it is the same or near to and the item was undamaged despite the grease stain on the packaging then I wouldn't be contacting the seller but leave a positive saying 'item received, however did not appreciate the grease stained pizza box it was sent in'.0
