As an ebay seller, but not using re cycled packaging, i would say first contact the seller as first port of call, leaving a neg is very harsh in my opinion without contact first.
Negs since the changes can close someone account.

I bought a pair of jeans from ebay that were used but described in perfect condition and they had period stains inside them!!!! The stains were washed in, at least they weren't fresh I suppose !
I emailed the seller with a photo and she got back straight away, saying that she had sold them for her sister, and was mega embarrassed / apologetic, but admitted she should have checked them more closely. She refunded me straight away, without asking me to return them obviously. I just didn't leave feedback.0 -
I seem to be in the minority but I think it's cheeky. It's one thing to use recycled card, fair enough, but a greasy pizza box! If they charged you postage and package then yes i'd give neutral (since the actualy item was okay not negative) feedback and say why. They are giving you dirty packaging and pocketing a profit from the charges, how cheeky.0

I would leave positive feedback unless the item was marked, but I would through in something cheeky along the lines, "lovely item, glad it doesn't smell of pizza though!" Or something on them lines.Raven. :grinheart:grinheart:grinheart0

Me neither. I don't think many people do tbh?
I'd leave positive feedback if I was happy with my item but maybe mention it to the seller if it bothers you that much OP.0 -
That's rank. Imagine how well they've taken care of the item if they think that's acceptable. Probably the type of person that has 16 children and lives on benefits. Neg!
what a completely idiotic response !The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
What has this got to do with 'families and relationships'?
This board is turning into Discussion Time.:hello:0 -

Why do people exaggerate? How does 'part of a used Domino's pizza box - complete with small grease stain.' become 'a greasy pizza box'? Is it possible to have a used pizza box without a small stain on it ? OP hasn't said if this part of the packaging was actually in contact with the item - it could for all we know be just crumpled cardboard to fill the space... but people do jump to conclusions. What exactly is 'gross' about a bit of molten cheese or olive oil? Presumably the cooked pizza was removed from the box and eaten elsewhere off plates? The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
Also, since we are in discussion time, I have been educated in this thread about the hidden market for used bikinis.
As a chap, I couldn't imagine buying secondhand "smalls" but it seems to be commonplace. Never knew! (or new indeed!)What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0
