Am I being too precious about this?

I would only leave a neg if it had affected my item, if my item arrived in an acceptable condition I would just let it go. It's bit odd right enough.0

I'd say you're over-reacting a bit. If you really feel strongly about it, maybe comment that the packaging was 'interesting' or send them a message but unless the item was affected by it, there's no reason to give anything other than positive feedback.0

I would leave positive if the item wasnt marked, and as you feel strongly about it you could leave a few words about the packaging
As for having 16 kids and living on benefits, as geerex says, you could ask her, be interesting to know lol0 -

It went straight in the bin.

I'm going to have nighmares about that for a month now.
No offence to your good lady wife, but I would never buy a second hand bikini.

I would personally complain/send it straight back but we have a stupid amount of food allergies in our house so it's a risk I couldn't take.0

She was probably just naive in her searching, there's a big market on ebay for things like that, or there used to be, I think they've cracked down on it now.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

It was over a year ago and we are still having nightmares.
She's bought dozens off ebay, new and used, and they have all been perfect... apart from that one.

She voiced her displeasure to the seller who did sound mortified in her reply.
The seller refunded the money but didn't want the bikini back. Probably because she would have had to reveal who she was and where she lived.0 -

Just a bit of bad luck then. She voiced her displeasure to the seller who did sound mortified in her reply.

Bet she will think twice now before getting another one that is 'used.'
