I am feeling a lot better for discussing this issue with you all on line, getting it off my chest and receiving such helpful advice.
In October 2010 I had part of my left lung removed due to lung cancer.
I was making an excellent recovery from that when I was found to have mouth cancer although unrelated I had to have further major surgery where the removed part of my jaw and tethered my tongue to what remained.
This has left me unable to speak properly so have great difficulty in communicating and expressing myself, I have had a Peg Tube fitted and take my medication and liquid food through it.
I have tried my best to resolve this matter with eBay although by selling the scooter it looks as though I may have shot my self in the foot.

    As regards the feedback.
The negative feedback and most of the purchases for the
2014 New Luxury Collapsible Electric Mobility Scooter Motorized Bike Trike Black

Looks decidedly dodgy to my untrained eye.
Can the ebay experts take a look at the feedback and see if they think there's manipulation going on there.

This bike looks pretty much a heap of junk going by what people are saying

Good night all till morning x

This is monstrous ! Two different reps from live chat have promised you a refund ! You should put in a formal complaint to ebay in writing attaching the said confirmation and demand the refund back! You were very polite and restrained on live chat. The robots that run live chat all say the same old rubbish - you need to escalate to customer services and hopefully get a human with their own brain to look into it! Ebay is one huge defective company ! The original seller should be slung off !

I quite agree. Is there anyone on here who knows someone in a media department (radio/tv/newspaper) somewhere who can intervene? A call to Ebay's media department might get them to speed through the promised refund.

I'm doing a lot of digging on this e bike "company" in the Gold Coast Australia

I'll show what I've found later today.
Incidentally , they use Norbert Dentressangle at Heathrow as a courier, ie like drop shipping?

In the meantime- I noticed that in the feedback for example there are about 35 consecutive purchases by the same buyer with one feedback.

Also that at least a couple of times, it looks like a single buyer buys two of these " Dillenger mobility scooters" seperately and gives excellent feedback- while most others aren't giving good feedback since they have sold this m5 product

I'm no expert at dissecting feedback but I wonder what others think about this

Could someone else please take a look today when they have time

Holly - Looks and sounds very very fishy !

OP - I've thought about this - you will almost certainly get the refund from ebay. Two reps have said so in writing. This is the sort of story that newspapers love ! Poor unwell buyer gets ripped off by evil seller and then gets lied to and shafted by ebay as well and has to trade in a pile of rubbish to get a decent scooter! I can see the headline and pictures now !

Send the formal letter to ebay - attach the evidence and see how you get on.

Try not to worry though - you have lots of avenues to try to get the money back - ebay won't risk a story like yours in the national press bearing in mind the constant harping on about risk free buying !!!

    Keep us posted :D

For once this is one time I agree about going to the press. There is something going horribly wrong with this scenario- and ebay are culpable in this and I am sure a journalist would just love this- so many angles to explore.

This is a case where ebay rules have been followed and acted upon- and due to believing ebay an Innocent buyer is going to lose money.
