I've tried to PM you Dusty, but your Inbox is full.

    Hugs, Deco.

Frodders, from the moment the project was announced I've been itching to see it; I'm particularly keen to be there are sunset for the Roll of Honour. They've been filming all of them and the evening Kenneth Robinson's name was read out is now on the website. Very moving.

Challenge Update: the dressing gown has stalled again because when patterns say 5/8ths of an inch they really mean it and my carelessness means the collar and collar facing don't fit. My fault entirely - just being 1/8th of an inch out on each seam means the shortfall is somewhere between an inch and two inches - oh whoops - so I'll be unpicking again today. If my sewing skills were so well developed I could have just run this up without needing to learn new skills, it wouldn't have been a Challenge, but boy oh boy am I learning the hard way! I'm also going to have to tackle 'tension' because all my stay-stitching puckered and that's not helping matters.
    Better is good enough.

    Morning all.

    Dusty & Deco *hugs*
SAHMW I used to iron my DD's bibs as well for the same reason.

WM & TD been on again here, livingroom tidied up, nearly all my programmes decluttered from the DVR as I'd seen those episodes before, broken diningchair flung. As soon as this washload has finished I'll go and do the dailies upstairs and clean the bathroom.

I want to decorate my window for Halloween this year, so I'm going to spend a bit of time doing that this afternoon. I figure since its got to be done during daylight hours I can fly in the evenings. DD is completely engrossed in the Twilight books when she's not eating or doing homework so she won't mind me not spending time with her!

    Personal:

Work: write up text order, deal with orders.
    Move money/pay bills

Good morning everyone, Please count me in for this week, although I am a little little late in joining. I never managed to get online to post yesterday, as I had a busy day at college and by the time that I got home and had tea I was shattered so had an early night. This week I will be working from my own list as I have so much that I need to try and get done.

    Do college homework for Wednesday
    Catch up with washing dishes
Make a start on catching up with surveys
Get rid of 100 emails from inbox
    Collect little ones from childminder
Sort through basket of clean laundry which is sitting in the kitchen
Pair up socks and put away (also put underwear away)

Thinking of you both Dusty and Decko.

I've been out food shopping this morning so nothing done yet. It's a bit cart and horse at the moment - clear the kitchen first and then put things away or the other way round. Fall over bags or double handle everything?

    Morning all.

Uploaded the web pages as soon as I got up this morning, and then found that several needed "adjusting" but I have done the best I can in the time left before I went out.

Have decluttered another half pound and 2½ hours at SW, then got my hair cut.

In what's left of today I hope to finish my display boards (which will involve taking a few photos first) and, if time, pop into town for a new flash drive and some trainers or other soft shoes for winter. My knee is still playing up today, so I'm not going trekking round the shops.

Nothing much needs doing off the list today except maybe clean a window or two if I can summon up some enthusiasm! The display boards take priority.

Hope everyone enjoys some sunshine between the showers x
  • Thanks all for the hugs and support. My appointment is after the paid stuff tonight, I'm going to try not to appear as a neurotic, crazy lady, but feeling a bit emotional about it, hopefully there will be no waterworks later.

Cats feed this morning and litter tray cleaned. Even managed to sweep the floor of menace kitten's litter art.

    Plans for tonight:

Ring previous car insurer to cancel premium and get them to send out NCD.
    Book train tickets x 2
