Challenge Update: The problems have been dealt with; it took a bit of work but I seem to have managed to sort them out which is pleaseing. I've bought new needles for the machine which should get rid of the puckering and spoken to Karen in the fabric shop who's given me guidance on how to fit a lining into it.

Shower room cleaned, bed changed and a huge white load is in the machine - the forecast is windy for 24 hours so that should get it dry and pear chutney labels written.
    Better is good enough.

Thanks for the advice, will tackle the Ebeast later, so cross with it!

Ok have managed a few things,
    Loaded DW
    Hoovered upstairs
3 wash loads done and hung up
    Tidied babies rooms
Shoved bleach down the big bathroom toilet and plugs, it stinks in there through lack of use I think.
    Unpacked shopping
Have also been covered in snot and tears and various other things by coldy whingey babies. They're driving me mad, bring on 6.30!

Sorry I haven't really been following the list, but for ne getting anyrhing done is an achievement.

Going to do a menu plan for the week I think and try and get a bit sorted to eat healthily too.
  • Hi - I managed to hoover through in my HHC and then did some washing up and even more tidying. Put last load of washing on and it is almost dry now so I'll be on a double HHI tomorrow!

Just about to update my spends spreadsheet - it sort of goes by the board whenever we go away so I should be more strict with myself.

    Have a good evening. x

Today I cleared and wiped the kitchen surfaces. It should be a 15 minute job but took me a lot longer, because that happens to be our hotspot and I sorted through all the papers and debris that had accumulated there over the weeks.

Gave the drainer and sink a good clean. Tried bicarb and vinegar but it didn't have much effect, except to make OH complain that the house stank :rotfl: so I attacked it with some Viakal.

Everything needs descaling, - kettle, showerhead, bath taps.. we live in a hard water area and limescale's a constant problem.

    Hello all

Thanks again for all the hugs and support. It means a great deal <3

    boddyhope you're feeling better

Car insurance renewal cancelled, they are emailing me proof of ncd
    Bed made

    To do:

    S&S kitchen
    Clean shower

I saw the head practitioner, who felt my knee and said there is slight swelling. The ligaments are all tender and the lump feels 'cordy'. I did tell him about late OH and then understood why I was so concerned. I'm having a blood test tomorrow (purely to help put my mind at rest, he said). The best thing he said was to wait for my physio appointment at the end of November. He said he'd refer me to have an ultrasound on my knee. He rang me at home and said that after consulting with one of the doctors, ultrasound probably wouldn't be any quicker than my physio appointment. He suggested I go to a local private clinic, who could give me a more comprehensive diagnosis, so I'll ring them tomorrow.

    Thanks dusty

Just had a rare visit to the living room and watched something about people who don't clean. All 3 boys went upstairs to do a bit without further prompting. I'm sure it is genetic.
