Count me in for this week please. I started well last week then lost my way - this week I hope to complete at least something every day
My list
15 minutes tidying up/putting away downstairs
S&S toilets and sinks
Hoover and mop the floors
Plan something for later in the week/next week for half term
Meal plan for the week
Empty all the bins0 -
Missymoo we are not putting youto shame, you have 2 little ones at home, lots of us don't, I did very little housework when mine were little.
HHtidying done upstairs, bed stripped and in the WM, yesterday's laundry put away, bins emptied.
Going to do 15 minutes in the kitchen next as DW han't been emptied yet and there is stuff everywhere. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
[STRIKE]- breakfast
- S&S kitchen
- shower
- S&S bathroom
- quick tidy and flick a damp microfibre duster round
- get DH to hoover downstairs before he goes out[/STRIKE]
- knuckle down to work and more work ...
- ...and steam-mop the kitchen when I break for another :coffee:
Made quite a good start (except for letting rip at DHashamed of myself - I love him to bits really but on bad days he brings me to the end of my tether) and have brought my :coffee: up to my desk. Now I must get my head round the website revisions again.

DW and WM done. Cleared the leaves from the drain.
Missy moo - it's very hard work cleaning with two toddlers which is how I ended up on here in the first place years ago. The scary thing is that my toddlers are now 10 and 11. Slow and steady is the key, and not getting upset when they make more mess than you have actually tidied.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Progress mae in the kitchen, enough for today. Going to put the washing on the line and then do the floors next before I run out of GUAG.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

My productivity took a nose dive. Just spent nearly 2 hours writing an email while dealing with laundry, drinking coffee and half watching TV
The fact I had to redraft some parts 3 or 4 times didn't help :rotfl:
Now I need to get on with the rest of my jobs, like the Mr A list I was supposed to be doing before I checked my emailCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
I'm in again this week, thanks for the list Dusty.Proud to have dealt with our debt. DFW Nerd 1474

Aww thanks hex and dusty, actually abated to get some bits done whilst babies slept (why I call them babies when ones 17 months and one's 3 next month, I don't know, but can't seem to get out of the habit!)
I put a wash in
Gathered up and Took all washing downstairs
Moved some of OH's carp upstairs, he's away for a month working so he won't be needing it!
Unloaded and reloaded DW
Washed up
Cleaned downstairs loo
Hoovered through
And last but not least, finally managed to steam clean and mop my kitchen diner floor, I've only been meaning to do it for..... Well for ages, I daren't say how long for, for fear of embarrassing myself. Just having a coffee now and chilling whilst I still have some peace!!0 -
Hello, everyone!
I had been using this forum since about 2008, mainly as a lurker. I decided to try and post on the forum a few months back, but for some reason, I couldnt log in to post.
Anyway, Ive set up a new email address, just so I can post on this thread! Count me in!
Im a stay at home mum with alot of free time during the day and yet am terrible with keeping the housework up to date.
I am making an effort with keeping my flat spotless as I want to move into a house with my family (hence the username!) our flat just isnt big enough.
Anyway, I have done all of Mondays tasks/suggestions as well as do a wash of just tea towels!
Heres to tomorrow0 -
Made quite a good start (except for letting rip at DH
ashamed of myself - I love him to bits really but on bad days he brings me to the end of my tether)
... and I've just thrown the washing while still on its trolly and all the stuff off the line across the kitchen - where its sitting in a soggy heap on the floor. There are some days when it all just gets to us and we behave out of character. ... move along now, nothing to see here ....
I'm going to play Spider on the computer and listen to something soothing for 15 minutes until my heart rate goes back to normal. I hope your cuppa soothes you.
Welcome SWTM :wave:Better is good enough.0
