 Morning all, and welcome to new and returning flyladies.
I've updated the challenges list in post 2 with what I can remember of what you have all achieved so far this month. Do PM me if I've missed something on your list.
We should both have been going out for a towpath walk with the U3A canal group this morning, but I must have twisted my knee when I was mowing the lawn on Saturday, as it has been hurting a lotWill have to send DH on his own (though I don't think anyone else will turn up and hopefully he will be back within the hour to get on with his railway) - at least I shall have more time to sort the website, which is a really fiddly job.
Now:
- breakfast
- S&S kitchen
- shower
- S&S bathroom
- quick tidy and flick a damp microfibre duster round
- get DH to hoover downstairs before he goes out
- knuckle down to work and more work ...
- ...and steam-mop the kitchen when I break for :coffee:
Coping vibes for today and (((hugs))) to Skinty x
Hope everyone else has a good day.0 -
Love the list Dusty, thank you.I'm in but have to see the surgeon re.my knee this afternoon. But I will try to do most of the jobs.0

Lovely to see so many returners and people wanting to give the Flylady Thread a run for its money. Thank you for last week's lists Natty, the Challenge Update, Ionafan and this week's Dusty - today's list will actually get done here so that I can stay relatively on top of it all.
I discovered last night that picking up a sewing project that needs a lot of bits and pieces done before I can start putting it together is not a good idea when tired. I have a couple of darts to unpick this morning, but I think in the past I'd have left them so this is the conscious incompetence stage of learning kicking in. The oven's already on finishing off dehydrating the first batch of pears and OH doesn't know it yet, but I'm going to swipe his huge stash and put some of them in the fridge. They will go to waste otherwise and they're without doubt the best pears I've ever tasted.
Frodders, I hope you had fabulous weather for your poppy day. There were some photographs last week of the Queen and Prince Philip walking among them which were stunning. You earned your walk. OH has chosen a couple of weekends when his team are playing at home that we're considering going to London, one before 11 November and one after. Apparently they're going to begin 'picking' them on 12 November. Some art installations really capture the public imagination and this one has certainly grabbed mine. It's lovely to 'know' someone involved.Better is good enough.0 -
Me again. Dogs are walked, LR is clean and tidy, washing put away and breakfast dishes washed. And today's list:

Morning all
Heuchera and Missymoo welcome and welcome back haynrich
Today's list is aimed to be achievable by lots of us to give us a good sense of achievment at the start of the week. I may even do it all myself!
Bloods decluttered and a cuppa and biscuit now had so I'm off or the 15 minutes tidy up, join me?The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Oh dear you're all putting me to shame already. No having the best of mornings, 2 coldy whingey, crying toddlers and very little sleep, but I'm determined not to fail on the first day, anyone fancy a HHC at 9.45. Think it's the only way for me to keep motivated is short sharp bursts of energy!
Sorry you're so under the weather Pigpen. I take Ber0cca, but the tablet form, works out cheaper and full of more vitamins than the fizzy ones. Usually on 3 for 2 at tesco. They always manage to perk me up even when I've had very little sleep and what feels like endless colds!
Right, 8 minutes to drink coffee before HHC starts!0
