The methanol based ones always freeze on the screen, unless your screen is really warm, the plan is to stop them freezing in the washer container and splitting it.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

Lidl aren't stocking the screen wash this year

@andyduffy75 hey Andy, we've checked this with our team, it won't be on sale we're afraid! :(:(:(

Hopefully I've got enough to last through the winter, does anyone have any good tips for an alternative screenwash, I have no interest in the crap sold in poundland :rotfl:

A lot on the forums use the VAG stuff from the dealers, price is supposed to be OK might have to do this myself down to the last bottle of lidl stuff.

The Comma Xstream goes down to -65 but is about £15 for 5 litres, still cheaper than the VAG stuff. Not tried it though.
  • Hi all, for those that are still interested I was in Lidl this evening Rutherglen branch and they had a pallet of this screenwash (good to -60) at the entrance for £4.99 a go.
