Have they got it in yet, the super duper -70c or whatever stuff in the 5L bottles?

Not in store yet, last year it came in as one of their special deals with other car related products. I receive their emails but haven't seen any mention yet.

ALDI are currently selling their car products so hopefully LIDL won't be too far behind.

I'm not sure exactly but I think it was nearer November when Lidl started stocking this stuff last year. Luckily I've still got 5ltr to keep me going and as it's still fairly mild I should get about 20ltrs or more from that. Cracking stuff, been buying it for years now.
  • Thanks for the reminder to keep a watch out. I go skiing in the Alps in January and it's definitely needed!

I gave LIDL customer services a call today to ask about this (0370 444 1234).

They had no info about when it would be available, but suggested signing up to the email for advance notice. As far as they can tell, it won't be on sale for at least a couple of weeks.
  • ... -70c?! If only I was going to Antartica, this would come in handy! =D How much did this cost last year?

You dilute it to suit conditions.

Don't forget a few years ago it was around -25c in Scotland.

Price a few years ago was £5.99 for 5L.

Car stuff on sale from 24 November. Sadly there's no mention of the screen wash.

The Aldi screen wash is pretty decent stuff, i've been using it for 3 years now. Currently at your local Aldi.

The nice thing with the Lidl is it is suitable for fanjets if you have them.

Some people report issues with other brands some don't.

No idea on the Aldi stuff.
