  • Just updated my signature. Got carried away in Lidl spent £31 on Christmas stuff, Gingerbread biscuits etc, YS meat, already eaten, veg, which I DID NOT Need.
Oh yes, I am cross with myself. Also got a sack of potatoes and box of bramleys from wholesaler. Have now got so much food in stock I am sure I could last to XMAS with only bread and milk. I literally called in town as I was driving through to get a sandwich. £31 to add to signature and a slapped wrist. Will try harder.

  • 74p spent on bananas yesterday. I reckon i am going to be about a fiver over by the time the small Tesc* shop is delivered. For some reason, here and YNAB groceries aren't tallying. So not sure where i've gone wrong.

Want to get out of the £300s. I don't think i'll succeed if i reduce in December, but i've been doing this long enough now that it really should be alot lower.

  • Well, as predicted I haven't needed anymore groceries, but I broke my mini streak of NSDs to buy a bag of parsnips yesterday :p I haven't seen any in the shops for about a week so I was a bit desperate to snap some up!

Could probably last a while longer without a proper shop, but getting a bit bored with having the same old thing each day. Off to Lidl in a bit - we'll see what kind of damage is done when I'm let loose with their Christmas bits again
