November 2014 Grocery Challenge

Final shop for November today. I've got just under £23 left for this month but should be OK as only need a few things today as done most of this week's shopping in Iceland on Tuesday (bought some stuff I didn't need that day but would need this week but wanted to get over £25 so I could have it delivered).
Just need some fruit, veg & a small yoghurt to have a go at making my own.

Just to let you know there is a £5 voucher in the Sun. (on page 3) Its for £5 off fresh fruit, vegetables and salad when you spend £10 on anything (exl lottery, cigarettes and a few others) in Morrys. Valid until Sunday. One coupon per transaction.
Wonder if this will cause a stampede like last time.MARCH £62.38/2500 -
Just a very small spend this morning in Mr Ts of £5.80 but only 2.19 was for my shopping the rest was some bits I picked up for the Fareshare trolley at the front of store as I didn't see it there on Tuesday until I came out.
I still need to go to Mr As this afternoon as want to get a piece of beef to put in the freezer for Crimbo. Hopefully get a piece big enough to cut a piece off to go in for another roast dinner during December.
Will update spends later once I know exactly how much I've spent today.

Oh I hope my corner shop has a copy left, have visitors this afternoon so can't go out until later!
Thanks for replies about the bread, I did take it back and got a refund - happens all the time apparently.
Declaring today at £279.36 which is under budget
It shows I can do it (though I had money off vouchers which helped a lot) but I need to stop spending on other stuff to stay within budget - will be a 2015 goal as I need to get Christmas finished still!
I have found that doing a monthly menu plan and buying my meat in one go and doing one big online monthly shop helps, knowing I need around £20 a week for top-ups etc helps me budget better too.
Good luck to everyone finishing Nov - see in you over in the Dec thread

NSD for me today and hopefully tomorrow so I think I will come in just under budget for the month by the time the 1st rolls around so I'm happy with that.:) I am going to attempt to do a monthly meal plan so that I know exactly what I need for Dec.
Hope everyone had a good day:)Debt free as of 29.10.2020 🎉😁

Been to Asda and spent another £24.04 which means I've gone over by £3.07 but happy with that as I've now got a nice piece of beef for Christmas plus another 4 joints for DH and I which we'll eat over the next couple of months.
I didn't take the food I bought for Fareshare from my budget but used some of my personal spending money.

Didn't quite manage it this month as I had to get extra £10 out of bank, but having said that I did spend on buying €40 out of it so probably did quite well!!!!
Anyway pleased with myself, so will refrain from spending on food until Monday, I'm sure I can manage until then even though my month has now ended.
