Good afternoon just coming on to report a spend of £197.00 for the month of November. I put my budget up by a tenner for November but didnt use it so very pleased. This month has been helped by Supermarket money off coupons APGs and PPs from Tescos, looking forward to December challenge which for me will be a challenge as I normally go wastefully overboard at christmas but will remain resolute and disciplined (hopefully).SPC No. 295 - SPC No10 target £350

Have spent £24.74 today in cash. Actually spent more than double this but with £30 of vouchers for Co-oP and £5 free fruit & veg this is the amount of cash that was spent.
Been in three different shops and had to query till receipt in all of them - (Morrys never put me an extra 200 bonus points on card, co op overcharged by 87pence and A!di were just plain idiots charged me for 3 items that I never had !!!!) No wonder they make so much profit as I bet some people don't look at the receipts.
I am not going out tomorrow so will declare at £139.37 out of £200 leaving me £60.63 to go into savings. Now if I can just come in under budget in Dec that will mean I have had an underspend every month of the year.
Good luck everyone for Dec and to those yet to declare.MARCH £62.38/2500 -
Woo hoo! Well done everyone! :T
I always think tracking is 1/2 of the battle, so even if you're slightly over your budget please stick with us. This is such a supportive place because we're all striving for the same thing. xx
Ds came home from school with a decoration for the school Christmas tree yesterday & he wants to get crafty. He's also asked to write his letter to Father Christmas before his Advent calendar starts on Monday. We had a lovely little conversation about it today - he was thinking on his way home:
DS "I know you & daddy give the money he has to spend on me" (Talking about Father Christmas) "Is it like a shop where there might be some change?"
Me "I think Father Christmas will use it up on treats for you & your stocking."
DS "Maybe I should write that he could get me some treats but give the change to any other children who don't have as much in their stocking."
It made me melt a little. :happyhear
Ok, we're off to December as we'll be at home all day tomorrow & won't need a shop until mid to end of next week. :j

Thank you Lynnejk, it is also thanks to your help that I have got round to budgeting a bit more accurately.
Glad to declare NSD 9/10 and looking forward to the last one of the month tomorrow (in spite of going for a mystery shop meal where money will actually exchange hands but it is fully reimbursable so not counted in my spending).
Sig updated. Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Reporting a final total of £113.15
I am very pleased as this is considerably below my target of £160.0 -
I'm declaring £131.27 for the month of November, which is £18.73 under budget, so I'm feeeling pleased with myself.
For me the trick seems to be not to go shopping. I had far more NSDs than usual so was less prone to impulse buying. But I missed just popping out for a few things, even when I didn't need anything that day. Never thought I'd have withdrawal symptoms for T*sco.0
