  • Hi all

Still on track for being under budget this month, despite buying some treats to cheer me up. (Just started on an eighteen week chemo treatment, so felt I deserved some spoiling)

Off to a family wedding today, outdoor ceremony followed by bbq. Forecast is for gale force winds and heavy rain, also we have a 300km drive, and transporting 2 elderly ladies, one of whom apparently is perpetually confused. Fun day ahead-NOT.

Made a mix of paua (abalone) and venison sausages this week, are good but taste quite unusual.

Must away and get ready for my big day out.

    Cheers

    Hi All
No spend day here. 10 days to go!
Hot dogs & some discounted hot dog rolls from the freezer for tea.
Will need to buy some MORE party food this weekend, sons 6th birthday was this Thursday, so we celebrated then with just us, then I sent home made cakes into school today & sunday we have 15 kids coming to tea! Batten down the hatches, our home is titchy :)
Hoping not to spend too much on that.
    Happy friday all.

I haven't posted on this thread for ages!! Ooops!! I am still sticking to budget, though, and out of the £160 for November, we have spend £105, so have £55 left. One big shop (£35-£40ish) and a top up (less than £10) left this month, so fingers crossed may have a few pounds left that can go towards Christmas food :)
