Bought some RTC BBQ chicken last night and had a pack when we got in. Loved them so much (as did OH and he usually isn't keen on meat on the bone) so popped back this morning to get more. Got packs of wings and thighs, 62p a pack, also got chips that we forgot and some dog shampoo, so spent another £12.35-ooops. Love the fact that OH is on board with bargain hunting but it does mean I bought more than I would if I was on my own! Oh well, really need to stay out of supermarkets this week!
While we were there hubby decided he needs new glasses and opticians saw him straight away, so that was £185 spent… Needed doing though!
Hope you all have a love weekend, we are off out tonight to a birthday party so no need to cook, hubby is just making us some baguettes![STRIKE]CC1: £354.35 / £354.35[/STRIKE]

I'm so sorry to read about your chemo Kiwi
I wish you lot's of good health x
Well I made it through to today without spending :T Then I spent almost £20 in one shop :rotfl:
I did stock up on 96 weetabix and 6 small gammon joints though.
I'm going to continue to eat out of the freezer/cupboards this week as it will make space for Christmas food and it is saving me a small fortune.
I'll try to meal plan it tomorrow. I know I have one tin of corned beef so it won't be all gammon based meals.£36/£240

Kiwiblue best wishes that your treatment goes well xx
No grocery spend today but not a NSD either. My friend invited me to the opera and we shared a cake and pot of tea, mega expensive at the a Royal Opera House, I paid £4 for 2 teas! But well worth it, we had a lovely time.
I hope to have a few NSDs in the next week as we are past the half of the month and I am only on 3/10!Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0
