My favourites won't be much help then but I do love a good traybake, you could easily do a veggie traybake, just roasted veg then serve with mash or cous cous or pasta etc etc ^_^Stay at home Mum to DS Oct 2011 and DD Dec 2013

Just catching up - been a bit under the weather the last few days. Spent £9.76 at Adsa on Friday, which included some YS veg, so was happy. Also bought a new Christmas tree decoration for £2.75 from a local shop/deli. We get one new one every year. It's not that we need any more, but it's become a family tradition - well that's my excuse! They have things in that place which make me drool with longing so I felt I did rather well just getting the tree decoration.
Saturday was a NSD. Went to a friend's party in the evening and took home-made cookies and some chocolates I'd already got, so no need to spend.
Today was just milk for £1 and £2 for (reduced price!) chocolates to replace the ones I'd given yesterday.
I'm expecting to have to spend a bit more in the coming week. there's not much meaty stuff left in the freezer.0 -

A*di = £13.82

So it was £33.09 altogether (this includes a £4 off £30 spend) :j
Should only need milk and maybe some more fruit later in week.
Had another NSD today as I didn't go out

Hi all
Bit late in but I'm in for £270 from 10th Nov - 31st Nov so three weeks.
I'm working on getting our monthly budget under control and we've been overspending RIDICULOUSLY on grocery shopping. So this seemed like the obvious place to start!
I've got an online delivery due in the morning so when that arrives I'll get the total added to my sig.
Doing well on this challenge will mean a HUGE difference to our budget come the new year so I've menu planned this week and am feeling very positive!:)0 -

Am going to log another NSD today, as it is all go-go-go at home today, have also been loitering on the decluttering thread and am spending all day working on getting rid of old clothes etc.
So it looks like I won't be leaving the house, which is fab for money saving!Debt Free Journey started 21.05.20170 -
My first day of the new 4 week challenge (I know I am a week behind) I withdrew the £200 for the month today and did the bulk of the weekly shop for £56, including vodka for pear drop vodka xmas pressies. Friday will be a quick Aldi shop, so we should balance out more next week. This week was cheese and ham and cleaning products too, so should be a lot cheaper next week!!!:j

Hi
Had a fabulous weekend with sisters and aunts in Chester. Finished XMAS and 2015 jan birthday pressies. Really enjoyed browsing and admiring the displays.
Left early so I could call into supermarket before 4 on the way home. Got to Mr T at 3.30 went straight to YS bit and everything was gone. So reverted to list (too late to try to find an Al$$ or a LI"" so I then spent £32 on milk, veg and 2 chickens for the week and some stir fry. Shopping for clothes is the best incentive for stir fry! Total £32. Thought I had food for the week. Got home, unexpected, but very welcome visitors coming for tea, so used almost both chickens did a roast dinner and got the left overs on a plate for sandwiches today and tomorrow and boiled the carcass for soup tonight. So not ideal, but not a disaster. Still got milk and veg for week and freezer is stuffed. Recommend a weekend break to everyone. We ate in BE&&a and CAFE R on Mr T vouchers every meal apart from our B&B breakfast and laughed so much my sides hurt.
Anyway, back on track now.
A NSD for me today.0
